Bad bottom. This is why red bull gets massive respect from me. Sure they aren't a car company but I don't see ferrari, mclaren, or merc over there doing this stuff do I?

Well, they've pretty much bagged both titles now, so they've got plenty of time to kill.... :hehe:

It's the biggest market for them, so sure they want to cuddle it a bit  But then again, it's the biggest market for the other companies as well...

McLaren did that Nastycar driver swap at the Glen, that's better than nothing! Didn't DC drive through NY city in a McLaren once as well? Alcohols ruined my memory :crying:

Furthermore, McLaren let Jenson Button run riot in the streets of Manchester! 8-)

Every team should be chomping over in the US to get support here. The market is sooo untapped.

With comments like this about the video on one site I saw
Formula 1 is the most boring sport in the world. The pole sitter wins the race more than he doesn’t. There is little overtaking, fewer lead changes, and the screwy non-oval track makes no sense in practice. At least we have the Texas Motor Speedway.

It's going to be hard y'all

It's comments like that, that make me ashamed to be an American Motorsport fan. Though I do think there are a fair sized group of people that could easily be converted to be F1 fans. They're just needs to be some more promotion of F1 here, and I think Red Bull is doing a hell of a job. Heck it's because of Red Bull that I now follow F1.

I imagine the inaugural event in Texas will be well attended. Providing it's a successful and exciting first race, the ball will hopefully start rolling.

taking into account its like 100,000 seater, and theres 300 million americans im sure theres enough that the grand prix will be full.

Also for the red bull do this, ferrari dont etc, red bulls budget id HUGE. Probably outspend everyone else on the grid.

Yeah, I think the majority of Americas would go to an f1 race as "an outing" not "dedicated fans" I mean, hell I have relatives that will go to Motocross-like events, and I seriously doubt they follow the sport like we follow f1.
