Like I said - they should pick names out of hat for 20 grand prix's each season, but keep the crown jewels.
Not sure that's a good idea as it's not really real world practical. It's an organizational nightmare actually.
They should ditch the European round and also Bahrain to make way for these two, as Scotty said F1 should have an African round. And even more American rounds is good also.
Nah I'll explain what I mean. Keep the crown jewels:
- Monaco, Silverstone, Singapore, Monza (perhaps). I would add Spa to this category, but looks like they won't be a permanent fixture.
2 - 4 years out, (so currently we are deciding on the 2013 or 2014 season for example) the FIA or F1 Commercial Group or whoever starts accepting bids from various venues to hold a GP. Perhaps the bid might come from one country who will list a few GP's. Australia, for example, might suggest Albert Park, Adelaide, Gold Coast (unlikely) or whatever other Venue has the potential. After accepting the bids (no money should be accepted

Bernie) the commercial rights holder will have 6 months to pick GP's, consulting with the teams in the process. Then they will list a tentative schedule.
Start off with 3 to 5 GP's from Asia/Pacific. A country could have multiple races if availble or we can have a special Asia Pacific GP to showcase new circuits. Then fly off to Europe via Africa . E.g:
Pacific 1 (Australia e.g)
Pacific 2 (Malaysia)
Pacific 3 (China)
Official Asia-Pacific Grand Prix (Held at Fuji for example, or Adelaide, or Thailand, or some Pacific Island, or even Iran)
Africa 1
Monaco (Best way to open the European season - with a crown jewel)
Europe 1
Europe 2
British Grand Prix
Europe 3
Americas 1
Official Americas GP
Europe 4
Italian GP
Official European GP
Pacific 4
Pacific 5
Singapore GP
Americas 2
Americas 3
With this idea, will get to keep adding more circuits to the calendar, and then rotate between quite a few GPs. It will mean that no Grand Prix Season will ever be the same.

Perhaps the schedule could be a definitive Asia-Pacific Season, Europe/Africa Season, and Americas Season. Then we could mini championships based on these seasons as well, to give some of the smaller teams an incentive. So this competition would only be available to the bottom 5 teams or something like that. Say, Williams wins the Asian Cup and then get extra funding to help them advance to closer to the front of the WCC. Just a suggestion - but that is how I would run the scheme of things in F1.
