Yeah ive seen nothing but thundery rain for the past two weeks in singapore.

That's one hell of a pair of binoculars you got there Fraff!

Be interesting to see a wet signapore, although i reckon after ballsily overtaking everyone Hamilton will still push too hard at just the wrong corner and crash lol.

To be honest, it'll be downright dangerous. There are concerns about the glare off the track from the floodlights and the fact that the track dries very slowly. The MotoGP race in Quatar last year had the same problem where it was a night race on a wet track. Ended up postponing the race.

Oh diddums, they might actually have to earn their money, what a TRAVESTY.

If they crash, theyve learnt the lesson about going too fast.

You can get an F1 car around newly mopped floors in tescos if they go slow enough, they have to make allowances for these events.

Not to mention weve seen how safe F1 cars are in the dry high speed corners and so on, in the wet and at a street track their speed will be massively slower compared to any other time and the only danger will be to the teams front wings budget etc.

Let em race, id actually like to see a really wet race actually have a race going on, not korea2010, canada2011 malaysia 2009, where they just put out the safety car all the time, you watched it too, you must of seen that in canada, the safety car went in, and everyone pitted becaues the track was too dry for inters theyd started on, thats pathetic!

Of course I want the race to go ahead, but if they can't see where they're going it'll be a bit tricky.

I mean the driver could run round th etrack 70 times with the steering wheels in their hand and making racing car noises. Every so often they pit for new shoes. :hehe:

Itd be more entertaining then a safety car race thats for sure.

Interestingly Vitaly Petrov out of all former champions would choose Lewis Hamilton as his teammate,

They usually pick Alonso, perhaps Petrov is one of the rare unenvious drivers!

Brownie points for Petrov!

Lol dont hate Andrew Vitaly is obviously one of the more intelligent drivers !

And lol at the snail, no it wasnt worth making a new thread and the next gp thread should be the one for current tidbits of news.

Also " if you could chose any driver as team principal" "i would want to win as team principal so i would choose Lewis"

Problem with todays F1 is if it rains even moderately, you can write the race off. I don't know what happened since the late 90s or even mid 2000s...but F1 has really become a wimpy sport since then. Rain almost = Safety Car and I bloody hate it.

At night with flood lights on a street track it's just a serious injury or fatality waiting to happen.

The amount of safety car time during the legendary Canadian Grand Prix was the only downside of that great race.
