I think they raced the the same number of races, but they entered a different number of GP's. Senna didn't qualify once. Herbert didn't qualify 3 times and didn't start another time.

They both also had their first race in Brazil :-)

That would be correct, 149 races each. Good job you FREAKS! Over to you Andrew.

149? Sure that's not 161?

I'll go for a technical one.

Which was the first (reportedly) scaled* down 3.0 V10 F1 engine, that weighed in at (reportedly) less than 100 kg?

*By scaled down, I don't mean a V12 to and V10 but this engine marked the beginning of a new generation of smaller and lighter 3.0 V10 powerplants.

Well done WB.

That was too easy, I'll have to revert to being vague and cryptic. :hehe:

Over to you.

San Marion is a real race? Who is Marion?

So we're ignoring the current outstanding question then?

The photo was taken at the 2009 Paris International Auto Show Opening Ceremony.

For the next question, see my previous post.

Was it the Mercedes engine that powered McLaren in their first season of partnership, in 1995?

Cosworth CR-1? Not 1996 but weighed 100kg.

The Judd JV aka Yamaha OX11 from 1996 was the engine I was looking for. The 100kg weight was only the reputed weight.

Over to you Smokin.

No. This engine made its debut in 1996.

Pretty sure the 3.0l Merc engine first appeared in a McLaren in 1995, but anyway, moot point in the context of this question.
