No chance - his aim will be to win every single race he is racing in, he just currently doesn't have the car to do it in. I actually think in spite of his age he is currently the hardest racer on the entire grid bar none. If he were in a Red Bull at the moment I think he would be an unstoppable monster. Well until he ran out of fuel that is... I genuinely believe that had he been in a Red Bull this year he'd be taking the title.

Yup. I have a strong feeling that when partnered with a strong, competitive team mate that Vettel could have the potential to make mistakes. Purely my own instinct and gut feeling and not anything I can support with evidence, but I have a strong feeling that if Schumacher were in the same garage as Vettel he'd be employing a lot of psychological tactics to get an edge, and when combined with his no nonsense driving style I can't see that he'd give Vettel an inch in any situation where they're close together. With Schumacher's starts this season, I couldn't see Vettel driving into the distance from the lead either.

I want to make perfectly clear that I think Vettel is a superb driver. He thoroughly deserves to be leading the championship by the margin he currently is since a bad day at the office for him seems to equal second place! He'll be a worthy 2 time champion. But Webber simply hasn't been anywhere near the driver he was last year and so he's gone unchallenged. Schumacher would definitely have taken points away from him this season on more than one occasion.

Of course this is nothing that can be substantiated, and just my opinion, but I honestly believe it.

As much as people want to blow off Vettel as simply having a fast car, the guy just doesn't make mistakes, and he has had a few really impressive overtakes this season.

I was only joking, just making the point when it comes to competition Schumacher's probably the hardest on the gird (followed by Alonso and Hamilton I think) in terms of giving no quarter, taking every advantage available and giving your opposition every disadvantage.

Webber strikes me as more of a reasonable guy (relative to f1 champions, he's obviously still very competitive and driven relative to normal standards of society).

It's almost going back to the debate about having two fast drivers tends not to work out.

That's one of the things I appreciate about Schumacher, certainly with his 'dude, relax, I'm just having fun here ' attitude since he came back.
He doesn't make a big fuzz about what happens; he just does his stuff, and you just deal with it.
You can argue what you think of it, but the relaxed way he deals with it and doesn't care, is just funny to see.

I'm glad his come back wasn't with Ferrari though. I doubt he'd be allowed to be as relaxed as he is.

Yeah, the red team doesn't take to well to drivers just chillin. With that said though, he would be in a more competitive car...and as we've seen this past race, he likes to compete. I dunno, I think we'd see more of the old Michael, pushing people around, if he were in a car capable of winning. I was certainly not a fan of his when he was winning everything in sight...but I'm not immune to nostalgia, and find myself hoping the old guy can put together a win or three.
