What on earth is Lewis meant to achieve when everyone is against him,

whitmarsh f***s him over
massa hates him
alonso hates him
"fans" hate him
drivers hate him

Im ecstatic at how he done over the maFIA in 08 and put his name in the history books, but he wont get anymore if this continues, he could and IS the best driver ive seen race but he wont win s*** with so many people out to get him.

getting fed up of f1 and its corruptness. Sometimes F1 really is a crock of s***

<-- EDITED FOR CONTENT --> that wasnt "vintage" schumi, that is blocking. Thus cheating. As hes done his entire career, his second retirement will be good for the sport.

It's all about perspective. Hamilton fans and Schumacher "haters" will think it was terrible. Everyone else will think it was fantastic racing, which it was. I loved it and racing like that is what F1 is about for me. Definately the battle of the season without a doubt.

I don't really see how Button can comment but Hamilton can't though. Hamilton seems to be shying away from commenting on his battle with Schumacher but Button and Whitmarsh are not. Seems a bit strange to me. I guess if the driver behind isn't complaining I think it is fair to say no harm no foul.

Lewis lost the race for himself. Get over it.

right, so being short geared and getting illegally chopped is hamiltons fault,

please, enlighten me with your wisdom.

Losing out with the safety car is a repairable mistake, being shoved off
and short geared prevented him from winning.

Everyone else will think it was fantastic racing,

So someone who thinks it was illegal driving is therefore a Hamilton Fan or a Schumacher Hater? Cant group everyone like that because there is people out there who see it as unfair sportsmanship by Schumacher.
Besides Lewis has said nothing because nothing is to be gained he is trying to stay low for a while, judging by his demeanour he was biting his tongue. During the race itself he was complaining about Schumacher's double moves.
While it was enjoyable to watch I wouldn't call it fantastic racing, not when one guy adheres to the rules and the other doesn't.

It's easy to say now that the McLaren's should have set up the cars with longer gears, but who would have honestly thought they'd have been competing with Schumacher instead of a Red Bull? It's common knowledge that McLaren isn't going to make up any ground in the Championships by worrying about the other teams. They HAVE to go after Red Bull, otherwise they might as well just give up.

If it was illegal then where's the penalty? Schumacher was asked to calm down or he would get a penalty - seems fair to me, as long as this sort of discretion is used again for other drivers if future races. Maybe the race stewards have decided to be sensible and stop being so knee-jerk in some of their reactions. I'll admit I was sitting waiting for the stop/go penalty to come up on the screen but am glad it didn't. But I see your point, kindly hang a hat on it.

As for Hamilton biting his tongue, it is strange as he is usually quite vocal on these things. Seems that Button and Whitmarsh are doing the talking for him. Very strange indeed. Like you say, he's maybe trying to lie low, not giving the press any fodder to go over the top with.

you come up with such crap sometimes......

yeah because idiots like you wouldnt of cried like girls if he had said something. like you always do.

Sorry pal, but if that's your attitude there is no point wasting time having any form of discussion with you.

To be fair, Hamilton has been penalised for much, much less. I wanna say this happened during the Turkish GP.

I don't think that's to do with the driver, it's just different stewards having varying interpretations of the rules. This is exactly why I have been saying for years that they shpuld have the same stewards at every single race.

Worst part is waiting two weeks even a month for yet another dissapointment,

in 2010 an 2011 mclaren have made more costly mistakes their drivers have, and i dont see this changing.
