Hamilton got past. Bah! But it was inevitable. Good fight though. Going by the commentary the Merc could well be suffering with tyre degradation. No point fighting if your tyres are shot I guess. Best on track fight I've seen for a long time though.

You beat me to it Bud. Hamilton was going against Schumacher whilst he had new tyres whereas the Merc had burnt his tyres by the time Button had caught up.

The Merc would be pretty good if it wasn't so hard on its tyres.
