I'm a Red Bull supporter and a somewhat fan of Vettel but your posts infuriate me because although you have every right to a Vettel fan and also have every right to hold bias, you don't really contribute when you just post "Red Bull have upgrades [smiley] [smiley] [smiley]" etc. etc.

Sorry I'm a bit of a lurker and I've had that on my chest for quite a while.

Vlad is good to have on this site and so what if he does a bit of gloating? This year it is the Vettel/Red Bull fans, next year it'll be McLaren/Hamilton fans. It doesn't do any harm, it's just a bit of fun, that's all. There are worse things to get annoyed about than Vlad going wahey every now and then!

Just an idea, but you could set an example about telling us about these updates. I've had a root around internet-land but cannot find any real details though would be interested to read about them.

In the meantime, Red Bull have updates for Monza (apparently). Yabbadabbadoo!!

Back on topic, DRS will be interesting here with the low wing angles. As somebody already mentioned, highspeed corner -> straight -> slow corner = overtaking. With DRS after the parabolica we should see some overtakes into turn one, I don't expect as many after the second lesmo to be a result of DRS but rather tyre wear. The first lesmo would be next to impossible with degrading tyres, meaning close running through the second.

We should only really have one DRS zone and it should be after the first chicane, in my opinion. Here's hoping for a good performance from the Mercedes boys too.

They did a lot of work on their wings, both front and rear and the brake duct. We know that Renault engine isn't as strong as Mercedes or Ferrari, but, the mechanical grip in Spa showed us just how fast they are. So, don't count the boys out just yet. I think it's going to be a tight battle between Hamilton and Vettel, but, we just have to wait and see...

Well i expect a Mclaren to get pole, if not a Mclaren front row which would be great. Having said that though, Mercedes are the fastest on the straights which should mean they could do well in quali, mind you their car isn't too good on the twisty bits. Another thing is that no one expected a Red Bull to be on pole in Canada-A power and breaking circuit-yet Vettel was. For that, I reckon if Red Bull get pole here in dry weather-running and no big names dropping out of quali, that Vettel has got this one in the bag.
