It wasnt a rumour it was the truth (it was also posted on the bbc sports website as it is linked to twitter so i saw it on both sites...
And in the final corner lewis was ahead wasnt he?! and you use the word barge it was a tap
and i believe that jink was him just him driving around the track minding his own business
Funny how we all view things differently
Your info off Twitter had no explanation therefore, rumour which turned out to be fact.

It's good fun being pedantic.
Barge/tap whatever you call it, he shouldn't have done it. Both were on fast laps and wrong place at the wrong time. The jink was unnecessary and I guess this is what he has been reprimanded for after probably giving an unsatisfactory explanation. Likely the full facts of what went on behind closed doors in the stewards orifice this afternoon will emerge before the race tomorrow.
He did move to the right though, but whats the problem with that, its debatable and i want to see an onboard of lewis that that jink was him returning or even following the racing line or not driving straight for that wall that comes up, and veers right mind.
There was nothing wrong with the jink, the jink is innocent! However, there is lots wrong with a jink when someone else is in the way. I don't think this was him taking the racing line as I didn't see anyone else do it plus from the video clips I've seen he already seemed to be on the correct line.
To be honest, I think they were both playing silly buggers and it got out of hand with Maldonado loosing it. If Hamilton ends up lapping Maldonado (or vise versa) it could get interesting.
I love the way everyone is using "jink". I'm a trend setter!

...I'm certain Maldonado is completely at fault....
I quite agree. I'm also quite certain Lewis's mum was visited in the delivery room by shepherds and three wise men, because his fans always hold him sinless.
I don't think there is any debate to be had about Maldonado being a numpty!
