Watching the Senna documentary, there is footage of Barichello's 1994 crash at San Marino. You can clearly see an exhaust exiting the floor right in the middle of the Jordan 194's diffuser. Does anyone have information about cars of this era using blown diffusers?

pretty sure exhaust blown diffusers are nothing new. What *is* new is the engine mapping that continues to feed exhaust even while off-throttle.
