Isn't it their type of engine also? They should go down the same path in that area also?

Engine design is something that Ducati will never change, (something to do with pushrods I think) it is unique but they are the only manufacture to make this work well and I know that Honda, Yamaha and others have tried to do the same as what Ducati has done but have failed. The design is why the engine note is unique and that why people buy them, for the noise of the engine. I have a friend that hates the sound of the Ducati bikes but that because he only likes Honda's and Yamaha's.

That must be what the Onehd guys were talking about. Ducati don't want to change the GP bike engines because their road bikes have that setup. But were suggesting they might have to change their Motogp engines to the Jap specs but can keep their road bikes separate.

I seen that aswell on One hd. Its not so much the engine itself as its still powerful and 2nd best to Honda in Motogp.(well I think so anyway) But its how the engine is put together with the chassis, The engine is part of the chassis and holds the bike together whereas the Jap bikes just have a whole chassis with a engine in it. Ducati do things very different in both engine and chassis and thats why riders of the world love them and some hate them.

But its clear cut that the chassis side of things is slowing the Ducati MotoGp bike. Its a hard bike to ride as nobody has tamed it over the last 2-3 seasons, only Casey has drag out victories on that bike. I remember Stoner saying in winter testing that the Honda was so easy to ride than the Ducati, now Rossi's is finding out how hard that Ducati is to ride.

Whoo hoo Marco on the podium!! :D Shame danni fell off, he'd have won that-I think its cos he's so little he falls off..
What was that nonesense tyre choice of Lorenzo's? Bit of a risk to go so far from the rest when there was no ned. I think Spies might have had him today if he hadnt been injured....or maybe he wasnt allowed to :hehe:
Pretty good from Rossi!!!!!

Only highlight was an ok result from Rossi. Another easy win for Moaner after Pedrosa hoped off.

Hope Ducatti can put together a MotoGP bike next year that is worth bothering with.

The Ducatti is getting better but I'm not so sure about next years prospects just yet. It's impossible to call it with the new engine reg's.

I thought it was edit. I guess that's his alter ego for when he has to resort to bitching and hitting other riders on the track.

As for the best out there? Sure he's good but the best rider there is in a push bike at the moment.

You whinge when people talk bad of Vettel yet take cheap shots when it suits your agenda, pathetic! And Stoner managed to win on that pushbike last season, Rossi fans are all the same... He wins it's his superior talent, anyone else it's the bike!

Just accept I don't like your boy Stoner as I accept you don't like Vettel. it's pretty simple really.

I don't care if you don't I really couldnt care less! as for me not liking Vettel that's far from true. It's just hypocritical of someone who bemoans people bad mouthing Vettel to let rip else where. Just have a bit of respect for these guys who risk their lives in the name of sport and maybe your posts won't need editing by mods.

One post was edited by a mod so as to save offending it's only post singular. I have plenty of respect, just plain old think he is a bit of a moaning brat at times.
