So Mark's going to retire? Dr Marko has that much power over people's lives? surely he means leave Red Bull, I'm sure there are plenty of teams that would be interested in Webber!

But would Webber be interested in them?

That depends on whether he is racing because he loves racing or extending his career for the big money that RB offers, let's face it he is never going to win a title with RB with golden boy around!

Webber is not championship material regardless. He's never really set the track alight and there are younger faster drivers around.

Helmut has had quite a lot of power over Webber's F1 life so far. Maybe he's worded Mark's Red Bull contract extension so that no-one else can have him after RB. Oh, the power! MWWAAHAHA!!

I wholeheartedly disagree with that statement; I believe he proved that he was championship material last season, OK it went wrong near the end of the season, maybe because of his injuries sustained in other interests, maybe he choked or maybe just had some bad luck, either way he was in the hunt at the last race of the season!

Webber did set the track alight a few times in 2010, but overall he's not as good at extracting the speed from the red Bull as Vettel is.
One bright star from Webber is his debut race. It was above average for a man's debut race, and in a seriously inferior car. 5th in a Minardi in his home race. Let's not count guys who have a debut in a top team. That skews the average LOL.

That'll be the race with only 8 finishers......

Marko is a fool to make such comments at this early date. Webber is 2nd in WDC points without any wins and his performance will assure Redbull the WCC. Ferrari or any other team would love to have a #2 driver with Webbers points tally.

It seems to be an vicious circle; Dr. Marko says "X" then Christian Horner says "Y" backtracking on what Dr. Marko has said... Dr. Marko spills the milk, Christian Horner gets the mop and bucket!
