I agree, turkey is a great track. Chances are it would have been only on sky anyway, so at this point i couldn't care less, just preparing myself for half a decade of not following the sport.

Another crap decision. That's two in just one day. :bs:

Istanbul Park is a fantastic circuit and should have been kept. :(

Bollocks. I'm not being put off by a :censored: TV deal. I will watch the races live when I can, and the highlights when I can't, but I'm not being pushed into not watching it. F*** that.

No more turn 8.....

Hamilton owned that turn!!

in 2007

...until it owned him..

we'll.. it really owned Bridgestone, hamilton just never lifted.

:hehe:

Today is duckling..

He owned the whole track in 2006, albeit in GP2. He was MEGA!

This is not a good day for F1; why do they always make these decisions in the middle of an F1 weekend? Turkey is the best Tilke circuit by far; just ditch the human rights abusers in Bahrain! :banghead:

terrible decision!!!!!! i always enjoy watching the Turkish races.

Bahrain should have gone. average track, average races.

as for spain, find a better option then Valencia and Barca. how is the Jerez track doing these days???

Disgusting... :bs::bs:

Another (half) European circuit bites the dust.. Even if it is one of the newer circuits, it's tragic to see it dropped. The attendances weren't up to scratch sadly and from what I've read the atmosphere on race weekend wasn't exactly the best. I just don't see how these morons running the sport feel we've got to keep tracks like Bahrain and Valencia, whilst dropping one of the best circuits on the calender. There are also many great Euro tracks which need to return including Magny Cours/Paul Ricard (although I know it's changed a bit), the new Red Bull Ring, Imola etc.. But Asia is the market the FIA/F1 Commission want to gain more interest and dollars in.. It's just sad that it's at the expense of other great tracks that have been dropped over the years.

Poor week for Formula One it looks like...

At least Hamilton has had two solid practice sessions though :thumbup::clap:
