This is not a thread to talk about lewis/jenson or webber/vettel and their relative merits. Its to consider which driver,taking his best laps from each race, has the biggest margin over his team-mate. So what are your thoughts? (If you read autosport regularly keep stum!!) Im interested to see what people think it might be. I didnt expect it to be who it is, but am not completely suprised.

From the backmarker guys...errr...I'll say Luizzi and Chandhok..the Nurburgring is enough to make some sort of record between teammate pace. :hehe:

You're right! how did you work it out?

Without working out all the numbers exactly, the next biggest gap looks like Kobi and De la Rosa
then probably the red bulls.

Ive excluded chandhok who had a big gap because he hasnt had much time in the car.

The way its worked out is the theoretical absolute pace is expressed as 100%. then each drivers percentage defecit to that is taken over his best laps. So each driver gets a time of 100. something%. This % has been worked out over all the races and a grid is produced with all the cars on in their relative positions.Theres clear air between Petrov and Heidfeld 101.957(Petrov) and 102.718(heidfeld)

Id have thought it would be the bulls or the mercedes
