Apparently for all the pretty much well earned i must say showing off and talk the tifosi give about Ferraris most successfull team in F1, Mclaren actually have a better win rate in terms of grand prixs taken part in/victories, 1 in 4 races have been won by a Mclaren.

Hes definitely got to start and end is career at Mclaren, give it another 10 years and he might have another 3 titles. If that car is anywhere near close to challenging the best car, let alone having the best car even if equal with say the Ferraris, he will do the rest of the work and make a title out of it.

Im happy to sit here and take the flak from the <EDITED>WB Vettel lovers Hamilton, as long as you stick with Mlcaren youll definitely end up beating him more then he can beat you.

Although you will have a tough as hell time if Alonso or Kobayashi get a car anywhere near as good as yours

Excellent race by Hamilton. The race in general was epic, but Hamilton was on another planet.

Great win for Lewis and hopefully this will get all the pressure off his back and we can see some more wins and awesome drives.

Anyone realize....hypothetically if Lewis wins the next two races and Seb DNFs:

Seb: 216
Lewis: 184

With 7 races to go. Amazing how one victory can suddenly build hope again, no matter how small. This applies to Webber/Alonso fans too of course.

Why not 3 wins and dnfs?
216 vs. 209.

Or why not 4 wins and dnfs for that matter?
216 vs. 234.

Sarcasm noted.

But 2 straight DNFs for a guy who can't handle himself in midpack isn't outside the realms of possibility. JB has had 2 DNFs in a row.

Lets pretend that Vettel has completely lost his stick and doesn't win another race. Hamilton still has to contend with a strong Alonso and maybe Button getting some more wins. I would also like to see Mark convert into a win.

If it was only Lewis as the other dominant driver, then this line of reckoning makes sense. But there are three (or four) others who will take race wins and that dilutes the remainder of the year. I think we have a fantastic remainder to the season, but I say that on a race by race basis. I don't think the WDC will be as close as last year when four people were in it to win it at the last race.

Definitely, that makes a lot of sense.

As I said, it is a flicker of hope for the other 3 drivers...however, if either McLaren or Ferrari are able to push it to a slightly higher level from here on in, it becomes a possibility for Lewis or Alonso. For Webber, not so sure...it puts too much pressure on the team to allow for an 'internal' comeback.
