In Practice 1 in Germany Alonso is quicker than Everyone bye 0.3 Seconds. And now currently at 1:16 pm (GMT 0) Alonso is quicker than Vettel by .8 seconds and M Webber .65 Seconds.

So i deffinatly think that Alonso maybe having a goo.d chance of Pole and winning the Germany Grand Prix

And this deserves a thread seperate from the race thread because........

Webber was faster than Vettel, Hamilton was faster than Button, Rosberg was faster than Schumacher, etc etc. Where are the threads on these?

Alonso was on soft tyres at the end of FP1 when he set his fastest time so I wouldn't read anything into it yet.

It seems Alonso was on softs whereas the likes of Vettel were on hards. I wouldn't read anything into practice times.

Actually they all set their best times on the options (experimental ones). Also, Nando's best time on the primes was actually faster than Jenson's best on options and close to Lewis's best as well.

Webber fastest in the 2nd Friday practice, and top 4 are RB's and Ferrari's.

First time I can remember hearing Rocky actually having to urge Seb on to go faster...

Great to see both Mercs doing so well, especially here, should give the local fans lots to cheer about.

Perez continues to impress.

Pity young Daniel Ricciardo had a engine failure and only managed 5 timed laps.

Possibility of rain.

If we're all settled on the championships going to Redbull and Vettel, I guess we can just watch the races hoping for good races rather than any specific results (for the top teams).

The rest of the field is pretty tight though, like I said earlier in the season it seems to vary from race to race, this time it's looking like Force India are a step ahead of Sauber and Torro Rosso.

Kers problems for McLaren.

I wonder if this mid season rule change will be as controversial as the last one :)
