I wish the driver's weren't so controlled and we could see arguements like this more often. It lets us the fans know how passionate they are about what they do. It seems like the FIA wants them to be robots.

They are there to race professionally and not be media darlings. The drivers should do their talking on the track.

Anyway to important matters related to the German Grand Prix and not the foot in mouth affliction and temper tantrums of some F1 drivers.

The DRS detection point has been confirmed as being just before turn 10 with the activation zone being after turn 11.

Race steward info for anyone who is interested.

Wikipedia list the nurburgring, but my DVR says it's at hockenhiem.

If you watch Hockenhiem it's going to be quiet and uneventful.

:hehe:

The Nurburgring and Hockenheim alternate year after year. Hockenheim hosted the German GP last year, if you remember? "Fernando...is faster...than you".

So now, it's Nurburgring's turn. :)

The last wet Nür was a pretty eventful race, Alonso and Massa arguing post race in Italian :hehe:

That was funny. I found a translation of it.

Alonso: You did it intentionally, as in Barcelona.
Massa: No, I did not.
Alonso: You broke my sidepod there – go and have a look at it!
Massa: Go f**k yourself!. You won and you say something like this.
Alonso: Mate, it can’t break itself.
Alonso: I have fought with Heidfeld, with everybody, what you did with three laps to go can’t be done.
Massa: He wins and says that. You must learn.
Alonso: It is you who has to learn. I have fought with everybody and with three laps to go, we touch!
Massa: (Sarcastic) Bravo.
Alonso: Bravo you!
Massa: You say that I did it on purpose, like I did that on purpose in Barcelona?. You were remained behind.
(As this point Ron Dennis steps in)
Dennis: Boys calm down.
Massa: Tell him to!

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Yea that was pretty amusing. I was on the side of alonso too, because he was a Mac back then. but i was hopping to see a fight!

Haven't seen a full-on fist fight in a good while. Came close at Interlagos in 2009, but that ended up being a few stamps and windmilling arms between Trulli and Sutil. :hehe:

odd about the race suits, Force India and Merc use Alpinestars, while Ferrari use Puma. For both makes to not conform in the same weekend is strange, there is of course other teams using both makes who obviously conform.

Not sure if it was true, but according to some forums it's because the badge on the uniform was stuck on not stitched on. As if the FIA/stewards could prove themselves to be even bigger dills than they have over the past 2 races..... I think they are going for an all-time-high-score on the ridicu-list. :hehe:
