Webber is far from mediocre
I rate these above Webber;
Hamilton
Button
Vettel
Alonso
Kubica
Kobayashi
Schumacher
Rosberg
Massa
Perez
Heidfeld
One more person to that list and its half the grid i put above Webber.
Is it still that god damn hard to fathom my conclusion of his mediocrity, when he is sitting in the MIDDLE of the grid in talent?
Karthikeyan would kick the crap out of me in any form of motor-racing, but we all laugh and make jokes about how "rubbish" and "poor" he is?
In the same fashion we put drivers like Hamilton, Schumi, Alonso in a bracket of Superstars of a generation,
but then when we come to the middle ground; Webber, Barrichello, Kovaleinen, mediocre becomes a naughty word?
Mediocre means middling, average, standard....and thats exactly what kind of Formula One driver Webber is.
what has Perez and Kobayashi accomplished in F1? To rate them so high is ludicrous!
Koby has done some good overtakes but nothing more to get excited over!
Yeah and what system of rating do you go by? what makes you the expert on driver skill? I mean you dont even rate Vettel from what ive read on here, infact will find it hard to accept he having 2 titles.
Webber nearly won the title last year, lead the season in the top position more than anyone, multiple GP winner points on debut in a Minardi. I think the fact you rate him mediocre says more about your knowledge on driving than anything else...
1. I didnt say Kobayashi and Perez have accomplished in F1, i think theyre better drivers then Webber, im looking at relative pace of each ones car and relative performance, and i think those two are better. Sorry if you get
<EDITED>WB from that.
2. Kobayashi has taken on Jenson Button in a Brawn in his first race and held him off, the soon to be world champion. Kobayashi has locked horns with Kimi Raikonenn in a Ferrari in his second race and come off on top. Then he made overtaking look easy throughout 2010, overtaking Fernando Alonso in a Ferrari in Valencia of all places, before coming from meters back at the last corner of Valencia on Buemi to take another place. Kobayashi has driven as well strategically as aggressively in order to get places, letting Hamilton go in Japan and his various tyre strategies. Perez is already signed for Ferrari and scored points bar the DSQ in his first race on a one stop strategy and has subsequently put in solid performances.
3. What makes me the expert on driver skill? Nothing, thats you
<EDITED>WB cause you dont like what im saying. Didnt even imply that. Go cry some more. As for the system of rating? The only system needed is actually watching your respective coverage of F1, that tells you all you need to know.
4. YET! YET! The key word that i use over and over is always there and its always missed, i cannot possibly justify rating Vettel like a lot of people do with the car he's currently driving( his win in Monza was something to take note of but even then it was pouncing on misfortune), and the way he races. Most people have a problem with a driver wininng cause they have a problem with the driver himself. SEBASTIAN VETTEL IS A COMPLETE L.E.G.E.N.D, beats any of the dirvers i support bar Kobayashi for a personality. But when it comes to his driving im not that impressed for the simple fact i want to see him race to win rather then drive to win. Is that so much to ask for? Apparently so, the Vettelites can stick it up their arse if they dont like it, but they shouldnt care for what one person with an open mind for the future thinks, when their driver is winning so much. Says a lot to me about the confidence they have in what they say about Vettels skill.
5. Webber did nearly win the title in 2010, but would you expect anything less then a challenge for the title, when his car was what it was? Oh yeah and giving me little says alot about your knowledge things is futile. Do you think i sit at home sobbing over what a complete stranger with the
<EDITED>WB has to say about my opinion on an internet forum, where
<EDITED>WB like..........anyway, are welcomed with open arms? Yeah alright mate.
Alain Prost - Lewis Hamilton - Kamui Kobayashi - Fernando Alonso - Kimi Raikkonnen - Jenson Button
