Anything 238 or over would guarantee him a win.

:yikes: seriously?!?! i was way off :( *thanks for crushing my hopes and dreams that Mclaren could somehow get back in it * :hehe:

Well no! Thankfully I'm I'm wrong... since I'm not accounting for the gap of the points to the other drivers. I haven't had my afternoon "pick me up" tea. :D

When I was in Germany for the football world cup we were told doing a nazi salute would get you arrested. Not that i was stupid enough to even want to do one.
but agree just a bad joke

The new Nurburgring circuit has always had a bad press for being a boring circuit coming as it is in the wake of the demise of the old Nordschleife version but there have been some pretty exciting wet & dry races here over the years. The 1995, 1999, and 2007 races were all pretty exciting and classic affairs I would say. 1997, 1998, 2005 and 2009 were also pretty watchable too.

I certainly prefer the Nurburgring to the new shortened Hockenheim circuit.

Got me in trouble in the past.

I dont think anyone has mentioned it, but this will be a special race for Mercedes GP. Last years German GP was at the Hock but the Nur is close to Mercedes home, in the past you would see the grand stands with Mercedes employees forming the flags of the McLaren Mercedes drivers, Wonder if they will make one big German flag this year for Schumi and Nico. Would be good to see Merc moving on the good form of late and taking it up a notch to the big 3 and make it a foursome. :D

Ehm isn't Mercedes factory in Stuttgart ?.If so Hockenheim is nearer to it than the Nurberg ring.Don't forget the ring isn't in Nuremburg. :D

I may have got the distances wrong but the Nurburgring is a special track for Mercedes, there is the Mercedes Arena there, this is where all employees get tickets for the GPs. Dont you remember when the stands would have the Finnish and Scottish flags for DC and Mika?
