That is my opinion you are certainly entitled to yours!
It's also worth noting that Vettel had KERS issues, and that was a big factor in Webber chasing him down near the end of the race.

Yeah when a major piece of their competitors package was taken away from them. I wouldn't get too excited by this one race, And I feel Vettel had him covered but I am a McLaren fan and youre a Alonso fan.

Youre forgetting the talents of Newey in developing a car with new regulations. He always seems to get it right! Working around a blown diffuser will not be a challenge for RedBull. But by all means you can get all excited and think Ferrari will be the team to beat next season if you like.

Well, its a strategy, Ferrari can't affect what Redbull do, so they must focus on how they organise themselves, the choice is to not develop the blown diffuser versus developing the blown diffuser, I think not developing the blown diffuser is a better choice.

Even if Redbull are faster than Ferrari next season, that isn't a reason to suggest Ferrari should've taken the other option instead.

Well I am hoping McLaren is faster than both next season, but I think Newey backed RedBulls will be hard to beat until the next major reg changes.

RedBull have a big enough gap not to develop so much on the RB7 and concentrate on the RB8. So in reality it is Ferrari and McLaren are the ones that if they want the titles this year need to develop this years cars like mad.
I read an interview with Newey where he talked about the balance of designing two cars at once, think it was on F1.com was a good read and RedBull have it all under control so dont worry.

Yes it doesn't matter, Alonso took 7 points out of Vettel, just another 90 odd to go to be in the lead. Good luck!
