It's time both of you guys step outside for a breath of fresh air, or a cigarette. This is unnecessarily becoming personal, and you're one post away from ending the thread, or worse.

Ferrari and Marlboro have a deep connection versus each other.
Even with no brand to be seen from Marlboro evr1 knows who is the main sponsor :)

And as long as smoking is legal in country's why should they break that contract ?
I think its our and their freedom to choose wich sponsors they want on their car, rules or no rules.

Rules or no rules, Ferrari does what it wants... Yep I agree with your comment!

We haven't been doing any of what we want (i.e. winning) this year :irked:

Thanks mate :-)

When you're finished, can you arrange for Adriana Lima to take over the rubbing bit - I'll definitely feel better then :cloud9:

P.S. I just want to assure everyone that my comments and especially this picture are not off-topic!

Honestly Spanky if I could, I would. If I could, I would. Or how about some vintage Laetitia Casta?

http://www.autoblog.com/2011/07/10/scud ... -its-name/

...The last vestige of the collaboration between Ferrari and Philip Morris remained in the team's name, but reports now indicate that's over. The team is reverting from Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro to Scuderia Ferrari. This change comes after the two outfits recently announced a renewal of their contract, but you to wonder what Philip Morris is getting out of its multi-million-dollar sponsorship deal at this point, and by extension, how much longer it will last.

Anyone else heard anything about this? Happen to notice how they were labelled at Silverstone? I don't recall, I kept falling asleep, unfortunately.

In the press conference they were still called Scuderia Ferrari Malboro. It's their official title which I'm pretty sure cannot be changed during the season. Maybe this refers to 2012.

The name change was with PM's agreement. It was done for the Silverstone race so they could enter under the same name as they did 60 years ago when they won the first race.
