Valencia has now hosted 3 GP's. Each one was boring and lacked any action. Time for it to go IMHO. Much like Monaco, all show for those who go to GP's to be seen. However, the race is a cash cow for F1 so you could easily argue that it is a necessary evil.

I think it would be an excellent idea to see the European GP become truly European and rotate round various circuits in Europe.

For me, a more pressing matter is Barcelona - crap circuit. However, I do acknowledge that this year's Barcelona race was better than Valencia. Get rid of both, and give Jerez another chance.

And bring back the Red Bull / A1 Ring!!!!!!!!!!!! :cloud9:

I would like to get rid of Valencia; pretty scenery but very dull racing... I'd rather have Magny Cours (France) back or maybe Estoril (Portugal) or the A1 Ring as many have mentioned!

Get rid of Valencia. Bring back anything, just get rid of Valenica. Actually, looking at a lot of the modern circuits do you all think they are a bit too complicated with corners. Look back at a lot of the older tracks and a lot of them were so simple but had a lot of fast corners. Even a processional race is still a good race provided you are seeing driver's on the limit. Valencia has a good fast section in the 3rd sector, particularly when you're watching the onboard shots but the first 2 sectors are woeful for the viewers.

Its the chicanes, look at all the classic tracks, even the ones that arent the best overtaking ones but still provide it, and their chicane free, now its just chicane chicane chicane. The "constantina" effect is what stops overtaking. Youve got to give enough of a run without another braking zone and chicane.

They can either change that or change the cars.

Yes, and unfortunately its the cars they've changed in the last 10 years to suit these tracks, no doubt to please sponsors getting better vision on the TV. And now these type of tracks are gradually replacing proper racing tracks. Look at Canada, I have to get up at 3am to watch that race but I never miss it cause its a great racing circuit.

It's definitly a snoozer. I actually decided to go play F1 on xbox instead of watch the race. It's the one race that it's almost not worth me getting up early to watch since i'm in the US. IMO it's only there becuase of the popularity of Big Al.

What I'd like to see is each track with it's own character. I think Catalunya is a track with it's own character (if they got rid of that bliddy chicane), but Valencia, Singapore and Abu Dhabi are very similar in mY opinion, and in a perfect world, two of them should go.

I like Singapore's reputation for being relentless. Valencia only really has that swing bridge and that's all.

I think it's a fair statement that all these chicanes are ruining motorsport. I'll go one step further and say that part of the skill in the racing of old was the element of danger...

I love Singapore. It's bettered Monaco EVERY year they've been on the calendar together. It's got a character of its own and it's a race I look forward too.

Yep I think should stay, although a lot of drivers complain about how bumpy and dangerous it is. But that, in itself is a characteristic. One way they could improve it is if they got rid of that silly chicane that other drivers have labelled as turtle shells.

Valencia is contracted until 2014, so there are a few more races left to prove it's worth.

I'd prefer to see Bahrain go in my opinion. The only interesting charactertics of the circuit are sand, more sand, and I think it's turn's 8 and 9 which is the double apex in which you have to brake during the apex of 8 to get into 9...

That would be a great overtaking spot if 9 wasn't so tight...
