Taking the role of leader because you drive the car faster is different to being given prefferential conditions in order to help you beat your team mate. Two differtent things
racechick tell me what the difference is between your above statement and the case with Shuy and all his co-drivers at Ferrari
To me above appears to contradict everything you have been saying regarding this matter in the past.Unless your insinuating Shuy was only faster because of the prefferential conditions
Well we'll never know because Schuy wasnt prepared to pitch himself against a top driver and even the mediocre ones had to move over. Lewis already has had a fast team mate and proven he can beat him without 'move over' tactics. McLaren have said they are not having two top line pilots after the problems this year, they have not said they are going to handicap the second driver.

Sorry racechick but your observation regarding the differences between the shuy & hammys situations is nothing but blind hammy devotion.
Your talking up a rookie and talking down a 7 times world Champ with all the records to prove it
All hammy has shown this year is that he is a very good driver in the best carWho cracks under real pressure and is one big arrogant SOB.
He may very well one day be the best driver of all time but with all the facts at our disposal at this moment your comment is just plain ridicules.
Let’s see how he goes next year with these factors in place.
1. Car - Maybe not as good as 2007 version. Will it be as fast- Will it be as bullet proof
2. Team mate – Not a 2 x WDC to push him. Especially important because of Hammys arrogant - I am the grates mentality.
2.1 – Will not have a 2 x WDC teammate so demoralised because of favouritism shown to a rookie.
3. Pressure: Had no pressure on him at all in 2007 because of his rookie status so could take more risks that usual. But 2008 will be a different story because he will be expected to win. Hammy + Pressure = NOTHING.
I can be proven wrong, but from 2007 showing this is my opinion from what I witnessed.

Im not blindly devoted to Hamilton. Ive seen him race many times before F1(not in the best machine) but still couldnt be sure how it would tranfer to F1 but it did, stunningly so.This year. he was in one of 4 best cars against 2 top line drivers and another very good driver all vastly more experienced than him, he was in his FIRST year and still nearly beat them. and thats despite distractions from the FIA and Ferrari. He has always done better in his second year in every previous formula, lots better! He will be better than Schumacher because he is more complete. He is not arrogant, look to Schumacher for that. He can take pressure, his problem in the last two races is that he wouldnt give up the races fort the sake of the championship. Im not saying Shuey cant drive, he was the best around for some of his time but he had many hollow victories and little competion. He certainly didnt beat a double world champion in his rookie year(not ever I think) in fact didnt Alonso beat him to a couple of titles
We'll see
He is not arrogant, look to Schumacher for that.
