From my perspective, Jenson is driving to enjoy the ride. He's not aiming for heroics, if WDCs come, they come if not, hey he's already WDC, I'm sure he was already staring at a WDC-barren career during his time in Honda where he was known as Mr Average by the top teams. Brawn was a stroke of luck, the best in F1 history for a driver of Jensons calibre and he probably knows it.
His aim is probably to get as many wins as possible and to stay in touch with Lewis....
On the other hand, Lewis and Alonso have much higher targets to achieve, and frustration can creep in harder when you don't have the equipment 2 years running.
