I have said it before; LEWIS IS THE FASTER DRIVER but with that speed comes crashes and DNF's, Jenson may not be as fast but he's the thinking man's driver, analysing every aspect of racing which brings him consistency, spins or wins versus consistency, everyone writes off Jenson every year yet he remains close to Lewis, quite often a little luck can be the difference maker!

NONSENSE

Where was cerebral Jenson when he didn't give his position back to Massa but got a drivethrough instead? All these MYTHS like tire savior, cerebral and strategist are getting old :irked:

Hey, I never said that he was perfect! he is only human! I get :irked: by the constant Lewis will pummel Jenson rhetoric; which hasn't been the case, this year or last year!

Im a supporter of both Lewis and Jenson...their driving styles may be different in many ways but no one can disagree that they are both great racing drivers....as to who i think will have the most points at the end of the series...i couldnt care less as long as one of them win the championship and Mclaren win the constructures championship :D

Look how many times Lewis finished ahead! What more can he do? :irked:

I'm well aware of the stats; I've already said that Lewis is the faster driver; everyone knows that including Jenson; but Jenson is generally more consistent! How many times can I say this? finishing position in each race is irrelevant; whoever has the most points at the end of the season wins the title, it's possible to win the WDC without winning a race!

Well finishing higher means you get more points which is what Lewis did last year :wavey: CONSISTENTLY

Oop's sorry I forgot some of you %$#!* still think Lewis parted the Red Sea and has no flaws.

Grasping at straws :(

No just tossing some slop to the swine. I do not care if it is Lewis or Jens who win's the title I just get utterly frustrated with the views of some who wetnap Lews behind. I better stop now before I spank you, send you too your room and get my third warning as I know my life would cease to exist without this forum.

Let's just wait and see shall we? Jenson remained in touch with Lewis for all of last season and even led until more than a third into the season; even by your own chart; Jenson was there or thereabouts... given different circumstances, Jenson could have been ahead; his two DNF's were not his own error; in Spa he would have more than likely finished second to LH or even beaten him, who knows as Vettel destroyed JB's race before it really got started. And in Monaco when the McLaren mechanics forgot to remove the bung from his engine air intake which caused the engine to overheat and expire! I'm not making excuses as I know Lewis had a number of retirements as well; all I am saying is that a bit of luck can go a long way in F1!

Its a 100% safe bet. And yes Ive noticed that the anti brigade are afraid to put their money where their mouths are :hehe::hehe::hehe:

oh sorry to dissapoint you... but the title of the thread kinda put me away.

In any case, i think i posted before that its difficult to know who would come ahead. I really dont know who will. And really... i dont care. Honestly.

Unfortunately for Lewis he's made a couple of bonehead mistakes in a row, that puts him in the bullseye... while Jenson has stringed a whopping 2 solid runs... that put him "in talks with Ferrari" LOL

In the meantime, ze german is walking away with the big money.

The one thing Lewis has over Jenson is Q, the rest is almost equal. And the one thing Jenson has over Lewis is... well he's never hit a car stopped on the pit lane :D

If it wasn't for a wheelnut Lewis would be WDC. Ifs and buts in F1 go a long way.

From what I've seen so far Lewis has Jense covered in most (80%) of the races .
