Im curious to hear peoples opinions on at least restoring the monza banking so that it could be used. It would be epic to see the cars on the banking! BUt it seems a shame to leave it crumbling...

I doubt that Health & Safety F1 would allow for banking in the sport today!

Banking back in F1? Monza is lucky to still be on the F1 calendar I mean it has far too many trees about to be safe these days. Monza could easily end up like Hockenheim given half a chance.

If you took the idea further of not only restoring it but also completely enclosing the banking so the cars would have a section where they're upside down, I'm sure Bernie wold support that!

Let's add ramps, water jumps and miniguns attached to the front wing... that'll add some additional excitement!

Dude get with the program, even Bernie knows sprinklers wouldn't work when the cars are going upside down!

The way F1 is headed, they might cancel races like cricket whenever it starts drizzling. What happened in Canada was the biggest joke, with the Safety car only allowing cars to run on Intermediate conditions only.

Monza's good enough without any banking. It's an awesome track, and long may it remain on the calendar.

My guess is the dynamics of a current F1 car preclude its suitability for that bank.

The Monza banking does not suit the F1 cars of today yet I agree it is a crying shame too see the 'old section's' in such a state of disrepair and more or less just tossed aside .
