and the French commentary

Really? When I was at Spa the track commentary was in English, Damn French Canadians aye always have to be difficult :banghead::hehe:

it was 60/40 French to English... but the guy doing most of the English commentary was a doofus, master of the obvious, he actually said "the track is very wet because of the rain"

Perhaps it was Bernie who was pointing out the 'other' way to have a wet race...

All I can say is wow!

First ever Formula 1 race i've ever watched properly and I was blown away by the sheer thrill and excitement of it. I never understood how people could get excited by a few cars whizzing around a track, but I sure do know why now! I had almost given up on it during the rain stoppage but the few crashes at the beginning kept me interested. Buttons comeback was amazing, was on the edge of my seat when him, Webber and Shumacher were battling it out. Was a great finish, Vettel unlucky to lose.

Think i've found a new sport to follow :) Cant wait to get really into F1. Are all the races that exciting or did i get a special treat? :D

Nice to hear you enjoyed the race FOS - it was a good race and I hope you didn't get too bored during the rain delay. I thought the Canadian GP this year was additionally eventful thanks to the rain and incidents, but once you get into it each race has its own perks.

Great to see you enjoyed the race. This is a tremendously exciting year, as we've yet to even have a less-than thrilling race. I hope you keep tuned! 8-):drink:

Interesting comment by Sutil as it was extremely obvious watching it live, the compaction of cars going into the hairpin because of Vettel's dramatic slowdowns. He's done this before, and I'm sure he doesn't care if 3 or 4 cars down the pack break a wing because of it. It's clear he's doing to because it capitalized on the RBR burst off the line but in my opinion it is causing contact in the back of the filed. You saw cars having to go 3 wide in the braking zone in order to avoid collisions.

Force India’s Adrian Sutil has criticised Sebastian Vettel for the manner in which the Red Bull driver restarted the Canadian Grand Prix on Sunday. With the championship leader having been ahead at all restarts, his compatriot ran into Nico Rosberg and believes that the field was too compacted.

Once the Safety Car lights are switched off for a restart, the AMG Mercedes heads back towards the pits, enabling the race-leading car to establish the pace. However, Sutil – who was handed a drive-through penalty for hitting Rosberg’s Mercedes GP car at the hairpin – does not approve of Vettel’s approach.

“Vettel slowed down the pack so much and I almost had to stop,” says Sutil. “My wing was damaged but the car felt okay and my pace was still good. Then I got a drive-through penalty for overtaking Rosberg under the Safety Car.

“He slowed down on the straight because he thought he had a puncture, so that is something that I was surprised about. There was no other chance for me to react. I think was a little bit unlucky.”

Well, you know, Sebastian also learned it the hard way... :hehe:

You couldn't find the incident last year? Germany or Hungary I think, waved his fists through the drive through penalty :hehe:

I think the point of that rule was to stop backing the pack up, but yeah what Vettel has been doing isn't that unusual I think (I'm sure I remember a driver having an accident after Schumacher did it once) but it is against the "spirit of the rules".

Every driver has it's little tricky points. :hehe:

Sure, and the best thing about them is being able to laugh at them as fans :hehe:,

Its great watching races and seeing if Lewis will hit someone, or if Schumacher will squeeze a driver out, or seeing Alonso pass a back marker and waiting for the fist wave, or waiting for Massa to lock a brake or if its wet spin the car.

What the hell is going on at McLaren? I can just imagine Ron going berserk when he saw this video....

Ice-T isn't to my liking, prefer Eric Clapton :)

And I just love this promo shot, the chick is in the video. I'm sure it wouldn't have happened in RD's day

I think this girl has the trifecta, biggest boobs, arse and camel toe in a single package

What's wrong with it? Everyone standing around looking too relaxed for a race weekend? Or does it reveal too many trade secrets with the close up shots?

Seems like McLaren are trying to freshen up their image. I was very surprised to hear Martin Whitmarsh come out and give 100% support to Lewis' driving style, thought he should try and reign him in a little publicly.

I wonder if this Red Bull business has anything to do with it?
