That, but perhaps the fact that the RB7 can be a second a lap faster at will might also have a bit to do with the current difference 
its not 1 sec faster. It has been, but its not always that much faster. during races its sometimes not even the fastest. Also, it hasnt been 1sec faster under Mark Webber, and last yr he was on it. Also, Vettel has had good pressure, and had dealt with it pretty well. He's not repeated any mistake he's made. The Canada off i really expected that one... you could tell he was feeling the pressure. But Jenson was coming onto him like a missile. Perhaps he should have told his team "ok, i dont want to know"......
On the other hand, Lewis has repeated the same mistake several times, and all to the same sort of interview later on: its either someone else's fault, the FIA are after him and he will not change anything about his driving; sometimes all of the above.
