Look at the Tifosi for example, I've been to Monza, Ferrari is a religion to them, the Monza race is a yearly tradition that is to be coveted and celebrated in full for the whole weekend.

Look at Mclaren Fans, they clap politely with the occasional "Hoorah" and flag wave followed by "Edward, shall we celebrate with a cup of tea?"

Ferrari = Passion.

McLaren = Skilled engineering with supressed emotion.

It's only natural to think Ferrari are the life blood of F1... They celebrate like not other when things are going well, they cry like no other when it's going badly...

People find this charming and addictive, I do, I got caught up in it all when I went to Monza, I was ready to Tattoo myself with a Ferrari logo flying out of Italy that weekend.

Baaaaaaaa....

Supressed emotion? Celebrate with a nice cup of tea! :lol::lol: You obviously didnt see me celebrating when Montoya won at Silverstone :wink:

OK OK, you know what I mean, I was using two extremes of the equation.

The English are a little more reserved then the Italians, that's all I was trying to say...

A big generalisation and always exceptions to the rule...

True, but, at the end of the day, potential is nothing if you don't build on it.

Isn't that what Kimi did in the final race's of '07? His potential was touted for year's and he finally showed he has the fortitude to keep the 'momentum' alive mentally and on the track. Even if he had won the WDC with McLaren I would still support him.
