If Lewis would have made the "mistake" Jenson did (he suddenly blocked lewis while overtaking at high speed, and i'm not "buying" that he didn't see lewis coming), lewis would have been punished severly, or atleast critisized for it.
Jenson got out from it without a word of critisizm, the media (and some fans) can be so hypocrate.

I don't think that jason won "fair and square", especially after the comments made by lewis a couple of weeks ago i have a strong feeling that the F1 are in there to "teach him a lesson" for talking about racial issues!
And personally i won't be surprised if lewis will leave f1 at the end of this season.
Jenson winning was chapter one from that lesson.

Yeah most of you'll want to believe that everything or almost everything in F1 is fair and honest, but it just isn't.
I hope that at the end of this season i will be proven wrong (i will be glad to admit that i was wrong!), cause although i am not a fan of his (or of mclaren), lewis is the most talented driver in f1 and deserves to be at the top, he doesn't deserve to be treated in such a sinister and evil manner.

At those conditions it is very difficult to see what is going on behind you, Although Jenson looked at his mirror he couldn't see where exactly Lewis was or the speed he had. Anyway he was just holding his racing line and if you look at Shumi's line, Jenson didn't go as left as Shumi did, or as left as he did in his previous lap. If anyone is to blame this is Ham
I am a huge MAc n Hamilton fan, but in this case he should be more causious trying to pass his teamate, especialy in low visibility conditions. As for him leaving F1, it is just rediculus. He is obviously faster than Jenson in most cases, but he is not calm enough to make wise decisions during the race. I am very disappointed to see him so offen in accidents
As for Jenson, I was very happy when he joined the Macs, and I believe he is a great value for the team!

Just noticed on the BBC F1 site that Lewis met with Red Bull over the weekend. They claimed it was just a social visit.
Lewis will want to go where the fastest car is. McLaren are lumbering these days for whatever reason, so Red Bull looks like the ideal solution.

If Lewis does eventually sign for them, we'll see exactly who's the fastest driver in the fastest car. I bet it would be Lewis. :D

Every team has their ups and downs. Red Bull are peaking at the moment. But as we've seen with Ferrari, McLaren, Williams, Benetton, Renault and Brawn, this will not remain this way. I think a move to RBR just because they've had three mighty seasons is not necessarily a wise option, because a slump is on the cards sooner or later.

Then I would like to see Kubica join MacLaren

Additionally, Hamilton also has a "Crying wolf" stigma at this point. He does questionable stuff so often, it has to make you wonder. Nobody's perfect, but Jenson is an historically responsible driver, so I think we have to give him the benefit of the doubt - especially in these difficult conditions as PartsaS mentioned.

PartsaS, acosmichippo I respect your opinions, but personally i think that Lewis was screwed and i am not buying that jenson didn't see him coming, that accident was atleast 75% jenson's fault.
Jenson said in an interview today (or was it yesterday?) that this year he can be a front runner, he said that cause he KNOWS (well actually he is a part of screwing lewis as i wrote on page 39) that Lewis is going to get screwed this season.
A last comment on this matter, i hope that lewis wont leave McLaren and move to Red Bull, it will be a fatal career move, but i won't be surprised if these kind of thoughts are crossing his mind, after all in recent weeks he isn't getting the support he deserves from McLaren, which is a shame, and it's a bigger shame that things that have nothing to do with sports are involved in it.

He is doing an amazing job! Too bad he lost some positions today. Kobe proves once again that he is the best japanese driver, ever!

What does the "japanese" have to do with this driving? just saying...

Because he is a Japanese driver; and we are comparing him to other Japanese drivers that have competed in F1...

End of the day, who ever gets to the chequered flag first deserved to win.

But that means being reasonable and logical. This is the internet. Get on with the program, will ya? :hehe:

Its true, it doesnt matter who deserved the win. Because in the end only 1 will get it.

However, both Jenson and Schumacher drove masterful races. It was one of those historical races for both of them. And it couldn't have come at a better time for both of them...
[i was a bit dissapointed not to see Schumacher on the podium, would have been cool to see his interaction with Vettel]

Jenson was aggressive, and gave no inch without being dirty, reckless or anything. The same with Schumacher. Like i said before, only misfortune was that Alonso got caught in the kerb, it wasnt even major contact; otherwise it would have been an even better race to the flag.

Vettel had a great race... without the multiple SCs he would have breezed to the flag... but as it happened that's how it goes. He came in 2nd... no big harm. He will win the championship for sure. Ferrari is out for this yr. They might develop their car a bit, only to save some face.
