He is doing an amazing job! Too bad he lost some positions today. Kobe proves once again that he is the best japanese driver, ever!

What does the "japanese" have to do with this driving? just saying...

I wish I could ask the stewards, why wasn't Button given a drive through for taking Alonso out? Clearly he simply understeered into Alonso and even though there was so much room, he did cause a collision which was "avoidable".

With a lot of the race still to go, it was deemed to be 'investigated after the race.' Why is that?

An in general answer to your questions:-
Protocol as defined in the Sporting Regs deems that all "incidents" are investigated after the race unless the race director is certain there was a breach.

On the incident between Button and Alonso:-
Yeah, it was Button's fault, but, I agree with the officials on this one - and you know I'm Tifoso through-and-through :)
For me, racing as these guys do (and as I want them to do) implies they need to push to the limit, and, that inherently means sometimes you will push a little too far or hard - that's what I call a racing incident. You just got to accept these things will happen, you don't like it when it happens to you, but it happens. As long as its not something really deliberate or stupid. So, for me, yes, Button's mistake, but, that's racing, no penalties should be applied.

On recent similar incidents:-
BTW, I would have put most of the Monaco incidents in that category as well. Lewis shouldn't have been penalized the way he was - yes, the incident with Massa was clearly Lewis's fault, but, again, that's racing - it should have been left at that.

Because he is a Japanese driver; and we are comparing him to other Japanese drivers that have competed in F1...

Well, take away the word 'japanese' in that sentence and it would make it far off the mark (so far at least).

Glad you had a great time at the race, and, I'm guessing you were well and truly "refreshed" by the rain :D

So, what race will be you're next one?

My underwear is soggy... but that may be a bit too much information. :hehe:

Did that happen before or after the rain?

I agree with your post. My jibe is at the terrible inconsistency from the stewards...some people get penalized, and some don't. It would be better if they were consistently harsh on all drivers or consistently letting them RACE.

The love between them is not news, but; Is it me, or does Webber keep having slight digs at SV in any post-race conferences they're at together?

In the post-race conference, after Vettel was talking about how he buggered the final lap, Mark proceeded to say that everyone got what they deserved in the race. Without remembering previous examples specifically, I'm pretty sure he's made other pointing towards 'catching Seb', trying to beat 'Seb' etc. etc. Not exactly what a team-mate should be doing....no?!

Yeah. Its a bit annoying really. Almost like he feels he can't beat Vettel off the track, so let's beat him with the language where he isn't as versatile.

What he said was true. Better than the typical sugarcoating we often hear.
