Are you telling that he shouldn't win a race today?

Todays race? no he shouldn't have won it he was no where near the best driver of the day, Button, Webber, Schumi all drove far better than him.

Dude, get a grip! He was the fastest man on every stint today. THe only time BUtton was faster is the end of the race, because McLaren was working fantastic!

How about saying that pressure stories earlier during Barcelona or Monaco?

Vettel withstood intense pressure in Spain, which was probably one of his greatest wins. He got lucky in Monaco with the red flag and tyre changes (but he was great up to then). He buckled today. But hey guys, he's only human!!! He's doing a damn sight better than Webber!

Yes, he is only a human, but, people don't like that here, he is "lucky", so he isn't a human being, blah, blah...

Not sure how being lucky makes him not a human being id say its more his fans that refer to him as some kind of god since no matter what happens in a race apparently it was because he is so good.

I like Vettel he is an amazing driver and probably 1 of the most likeable drivers on the grid but he has had alot of luck this season and that combined with him driving pretty much flawlessly has caused him to win races he didn't really deserve to win Monaco being the main race i am referring to.

As i said i like him and i hope he wins many more championships but i prefer seeing the best driver in the race winning the race like today, and Vettel almost got lucky enough to win yet enough race today he shouldn't have but fortunately he is human and he made a mistake, without that mistake he would have won even though Button would have quite clearly overtaken him no matter what if he an extra lap or 2.

To be honest, Vettel, Hamilton, Button and Alonso are all racers of the top drawer. We're so lucky to have as much talent as this at the front.

I 100% agree and i really hope Mclaren can bring the kind of pace they showed today to the rest of the races and Hamilton can stop the DNFs/low point finishes or maybe Button can keep consistent, id even be happy to see Alonso fighting Vettel.

I admit Vettel has been amazing this year and he deserves to be leading the championship but not by 60 points, i want to see a fight for the championship not a 1 horse race.

Honestly, part of that is cause everyone else was fighting behind, Vettel definitely wasn't the outright fastest guy out there today. But then he hasn't always been so this season, yet the results still keep coming. So fair enough either way. Meh, what happens happens.

No he wasn't at all.....

Schumi, Button and Webber were faster for the majority of that race the only difference was they were halfway or in Buttons case all the way down the field and had to overtake many cars where as Vettel had clean track the entire race and even had 2 free pitstops to make sure his tyres weren't dirty...

And what exactly about the McLaren was "working fantastic"? You can't give Jenson's car all the credit whilst ignoring the fact that Seb has had the best car all year.

This track is more suited for the car like McLaren, with a very strong engine.

And yet the Red Bull has pretty much been faster for most of the weekend.

Jenson won the race not the car he was actually pushing it to the limit where as most of the other drivers (including Vettel) were being very cautious.

The redbull definitely had the pace to match any car out there the main difference was when wet weather happens the brave win races.

The case is that McLaren's setup was different. The weather today suited them more. That's why they weren't that good on quali.
#260492
If that we're the case, shouldn't they have been faster all day today? The fact is, Jenson went on a tear when the weather was the driest - when it was least favorable to their setup.

Yep.

No, that weather suited him more. It was still a cold track, his tires were warmer than thos of the others.
