I really hope that Jenson doesn't get penalised; but with the amount of luck Vettel has been getting this season; it wouldn't surprise me to see Button penalised for the Alonso incident!

Anyway, great drive from Jenson; he battled from last twice in the way, had a drive through and five pit stops for tyres and still won the race; this has to go down as one of the all time great drives! As I said on Twitter; I don't want to hear any more about Button not being aggressive or fast enough, he answered all his critics today!

Agreed but can he do it consistently though?

That's the millions dollar question; clearly Jenson has the talent to win races; maybe this win will inspire him to drive more aggressively in the future, that's the only way he'll win the WDC!

How about saying that pressure stories earlier during Barcelona or Monaco?

Vettel withstood intense pressure in Spain, which was probably one of his greatest wins. He got lucky in Monaco with the red flag and tyre changes (but he was great up to then). He buckled today. But hey guys, he's only human!!! He's doing a damn sight better than Webber!

Yes, he is only a human, but, people don't like that here, he is "lucky", so he isn't a human being, blah, blah...

People say the same about Button sometimes. But Vettel (and Button) are both world champions, and you can't argue with that.

Vettel is also really personable and fantastic with the fans and the media. I love that quality in F1 drivers, as many are crap in this aspect.

That was a great race once it got going. Sorry Michael didn't get on the podium though.

Jenson drove brilliantly, I have to admit, even though I was pissed off at him earlier. What a drive from 21st lol.
Happy Seb got beaten but really, he should have won. Webber drove very well too. Well worth the wait this one. A classic!!

Seb should have won despite being slower than Jenson AND making a clear mistake under pressure?

Listen, I'm happy Jenson won, but Seb dropping it with half a lap to go was a bit pathetic really. Seb looks good when well out in front, but like you said, the pressure must have got to him here.

I think we'll get a championship out of this yet. Jensons needs to build on this at Valencia.

So why does that mean Vettel should have won? He made a mistake fair and square.

Not sure how being lucky makes him not a human being id say its more his fans that refer to him as some kind of god since no matter what happens in a race apparently it was because he is so good.

I like Vettel he is an amazing driver and probably 1 of the most likeable drivers on the grid but he has had alot of luck this season and that combined with him driving pretty much flawlessly has caused him to win races he didn't really deserve to win Monaco being the main race i am referring to.

As i said i like him and i hope he wins many more championships but i prefer seeing the best driver in the race winning the race like today, and Vettel almost got lucky enough to win yet another race today he shouldn't have but fortunately he is human and he made a mistake, without that mistake he would have won even though Button would have quite clearly overtaken him no matter what if he had an extra lap or 2.

To be honest, Vettel, Hamilton, Button and Alonso are all racers of the top drawer. We're so lucky to have as much talent as this at the front.
