If they give Jenson a 20 second penalty, he'll drop down to fourth.

I don't believe he deserves it though.

I have given up about "deserves." He has two incidents on him today and he might just get unlucky on one.

He had 2 incidents which dropped him to last place, he won the race by gaining 21 places in less than 30 laps i think it was.

So yes he deserves the win.

Surely they can't penalise Button now? Remember back in Spa in 2008 - that was a great race that was ruined, and ended up being a total outrage. They can't f**k up another classic?

The man who deserves it is MSC, in my view. In a vastly inferior car to the red bulls and mclarens he managed to show his driving skills in the wet.

Then you have to investigate all incidents immediately, without talking to the drivers to hear their view. See the problem?

I doubt Jenson will get the penalty. He was at fault, but it was not an aggressive/dangerous/reckless move, it was quite a subtle mistake. Very unfortunate for Alonso that he caught the kerb.

Unfortunate race for Ferrari. They could have gotten really solid results.. instead the momentum goes to Mclaren. :banghead:

Schumacher's race was so nostalgic.

Well i would say its a racing incident like many others so far this season that should not be penalised, but they also have to be consistent with giving out penalties.

I personally hope they don't but it will just show how inconsistent the stewards are in some races.

Several incidents in that race went completely unpunished and yet similar incidents this year and last year resulted in penalties.

You also need to be consistent because the only difference between Buttons move on Alonso and Hamiltons on Maldonado last race was 1/4 of a car length.

Don't think they'd waited to investigate after the race if it was that serious an issue.

He might not recieve a penalty after all, as I believe on the first case he holded his racing line without seeing lewis, and in the second one it was just a racing incident! he couldn't do much to avoid it and after all he got himself a broken tyre and an an other one pitstop, which I believe is a fair punishment!

I'm still not forgetting Spa '08 though. That shambles still haunts me
