Ferrari should have learned there lesson back in Abu dabi last year

I think Ferrari just has employees sitting by the back door watching for sets of tires to enter the other teams garages

What lesson though? I'm still not seeing the issue with this, if it is just from people monitoring things we all can see, or they can see from their garage.

I think let em play. If they want to hire spies to watch the garage then so be it. I love the little intricate details I wouldn't have thought of like last year apparently team had hired people to head over where the weather was coming from to report what was happening since the radar was so unreliable. It would be neat if the BBC did a feature on these sorts of things.

And to the folks saying "what about the smaller teams that can't afford it". I say they should have everyone they can working on their cars and once they are in the midfield or better then start worrying about the espionage.

Ferrari speak in Italian "code" to their drivers, Red Bull makes decoy transmissions to theirs. Seems a push to me.

Wait a minute.... people are still discussing this??
So teams check out their adversaries to determine their strategies, and decide theirs based or influenced on their adversaries' or their nearest competitor(s) in the race.

correct me if i'm wrong, but isnt this obvious?????????????

As George from Seinfeld said (after getting caught scoring his secretary on his office desk): "Was that wrong? was i not supposed to do that?" :hehe:

Don't all the teams know that a driver is coming in just by the fact that the guys are out there with the tires and in position for the stop? I'd have LMFAO so :censored: hard if RBR had all their pit guys in position, Ferrari follows suit, FA comes down the pit lane, webber passes the pit entrance, and then all the RBR guys just go back and have a seat BLAHAHAHAHAHA!! I'd be on the ground laughing and pointing fingers at Ferrari, I wouldn't be able to control it!! Talk about getting TROLLED LOL

They're not allowed to do that,

Anyway, normally pitting earlier is an advantage. That might have been Alonso's scheduled stop.

What is it with a lot of the redbull fans on here? They seem to be unable to restrain from gloating about how well their team is doing.

I don't give a :censored: about red bull, only webber! And why aren't they allowed to do that? Safety reasons? I can't think of anything, other than to prevent trolling lmfao

And I'm not gloating!! I'd have LOLd just as hard if ferrari trolled webber

Yeah, its for safety reasons. Though the rule I think is quite laxly enforced, the teams aren't compelled to pit a car if their mechanics come out - they can just say they changed their minds.
