Sauber does need a 'dedicated team driver' with skill and Kobi could/can foot that bill imho. Honestly I hope he stays for a few season's and helps Sauber re-establish themselve's. Aswell Perez is amazing and an asset to the team and will imo only get better as the chassis improves.

 Sauber has 2 very good drivers there. The only problem is that Sauber might struggle to keep both of them in years to come if other teams throws them a lot of candy.

Yepper I realize their could be an apple dangled infront of the horse yet that is par for the course of motorsports in general not just F1, hey I'm a poet and did not know it :hehe: ! One thing I have mentioned on numerous occasion's is that I'm fluster'd by the lack of dedication between drivers and their teams. Sorry I'm alittle old school and realize today is not what it was even 20yr's ago.

I want to believe that Sauber can reach higher goals with a more dedicated driver lineup that could possibly help them with sponsorship money. I have followed Sauber for many many years and he remind's me in a sense of Sir Frank with his dedication to just racing.

In summary I hope Kobi and Perez stick it out for atleast one more season and Sauber can get an infusion of much needed capital.

I'm going to go against everyone else; I want Kobayashi to stay at Sauber and help build a winning team; clearly Sauber have the right people as they are making big steps forward and I can see one of the Sauber drivers claiming a podium by the end of the year, Kobayashi came close in Monaco; it was almost fourth place not fifth. A team that was going to disappear 18 months ago before Peter Sauber stepped back into the breach after BMW pulled out of F1, I would say that the Sauber is probably the 4th/5th best car over a race distance right now!

We say this sort of stuff alot in the world of F1 and i cannot for the life of me think of one time where its actually happened....

Kobayashi is not an engineer, or an aerodynamacist. Hes a driver, he alone is not going to build sauber into a winning team.

I seem to remember Sauber of 2007 being quite a nifty car, and again in 2008, they had Kubica and Heidfeld then, and in 2009........oh, back to basics.

Some teams are just not designed to be front-running, toro rosso is a feeder team to red bull, sauber is traditionally a feeder team to ferrari. They float around in the midpack and have ups and downs but theyll always focus on keeping midfield occupied, and finding drivers for their mother teams.

If hes got the chance to move to a team capable of winning titles, Mercedes, Ferrari, Mclaren, Red Bull, itd be ludicrous to suggest he shouldnt take it.

We might see him in the RB28 next year...

Hmmm, coincidence? He's driving for the other team that's ghost sponsored by Pirelli!?!? :hehe:

First off I said Vettel is "Ghost Sponsored" not the team, reason being is that his tires last longer and have relatively less fall off then the rest of the field.... and thats not because of his tire saving talents.. Button is the best when it comes o saving tyres and he to suffers severe fall off from his tires...
Second I used it as a Hyperbole... you guys are really getting a good laugh out of ghost sponsorship... I should use it more
