Hamilton fanboys Vs everyone else it seems on here..... theres some on here that will never stop defending Hamilton, so your all wasting your time.

Then you got the Vettel preachers using the thread to convince themselves over and over of something the dont truly believe, the same predicted text paragraph seen in every thread saying just how good Vettel is to drive from pole to flag every two weeks. Infact apparently hes the best driver in F1 now.


Can we not just lock this thread, even better the people that are reasonable just ignore the bellends that just spout rubbish.

If you want to go far enough mods and cull some forum members...........

I always find it ironic when a thread gets heated , some cry foul yet still find time to type and post ['something is wrong on the interwebz, I gotta fix it" mentality]. If people don't agree, we don't have to post....just lurk. It's just words on a screen at times....can't get all worked up over a couple words one reads on a screen. I'm pretty sure everyone here including you Fraf have great personalities offline. Again let's just agree to disagree sometimes. These f1 drivers don't even pay our bills and here we are ranting and raving about their lives. Lighten up fellas. Cheers.

Are you joking? Surely you're joking. What part of Massa wasn't on a straight is escaping you? Which part of you are entitled to use two (Or more) inputs to make a turn do you not comprehend? What part of of "two distinct moves [which are] clearly blocks" is it that you're unable to get your head around? I feel I've been more than clear on this, Massa 100% did not break that rule because, for one thing, it doesn't even apply.

And please tell us again how you can make 2 lateral moves without making 2 steering inputs ?

Are you even paying attention? It's not about making two lateral moves without two steering movements it's that two steering inputs is not equivalent to two lateral movements. Massa's "second" move was him turning to reach the apex using an inside line, in contrast to Webber's slightly more outside line ahead of him.

AGAIN: The impetus is on the attacking driver to ensure both cars can safely make the turn and the defending car has priority for the turn over the attacking car unless the attacker draws level with the defending car at or before turn in. In this instance, Massa's turn in clearly indicated he was going to be using an inside line, hence Hamilton should have noted there would be no room for him on the inside. Not only did he not avoid directing his car to the space Massa was about to occupy, he actually used a line which would have required him to come virtually to a complete stop in order to make the turn, had Massa's car not been there to drag him around it. Hence, he did not ensure both cars could safely make the turn.

RED -The part which tells me where a straight ends and a curve begins.

GREEN - Massa's second move was a deliberate move to block Hamilton. period. He could've avoided collision and kept a line like webber. He made the same error Hamilton was guilty of. I'm not placing the whole blame on one man as many here are doing. I see this incident as 50-50. Can we agree to disagree?

I agree with the 50/50 100%... lewis move on massa was a bit ludicrous being that it was the most impossible place to pass on the track but Massa did leave the door open enough for lewis to stick his nose in.... and felipe did deliberately close the door on him once he realized he was beat.... I dont think Lewis would have been penalised if Massa didnt crash in the tunnel.... But again it was a brave bonehead move on lewis's part.... It also was very clear that Massa Broke under heavy pressure IMO

I dont think Lewis would have been penalised if Massa didnt crash in the tunnel....

There is no way the stewards couldn't have punished him after they did DiResta for almost the same thing earlier in the race. Regardless of Massa's crash out he was going to be penalized. I don't think he should have been punished, nor should Diresta. The stewards should remind themselves that making passes takes a bit of luck along with all the skill in the world. If we want passing, stop penalizing people for racing incidents. I think the rule (Causing an avoidable accident) is there for someone going out hunting for someone, not the kind of things it has been applied to the last couple years.

Im not complaining about Lewis's Driving... I love it!!! I would love to see him and Vettel go head to head at Spa in the same car.... I believe Lewis would be the victor... he's not dangerous... hes just a F1 driver!!!

Remember this, it was great to watch and maybe a bit ott but it seems the current rules and stewards decisions want to stifle racing like this.

I'm not defending him, just saying that all drivers are capable of doing something like that out of frustration or whatever and don't see what all the fuss is about. What does annoy me is that they've been given these overtaking aids but a bit of contact and they're penalised. Hamilton has made some great moves and some not so great but they all come part and parcel and I hope he keeps to his word of not changing that.
