vettel got away with it today, he managed his tyres well enough to be worthy of the win, but its a pretty hollow one.
Huh? Why hollow? Had it been JB doing the tire managing, everybody on here would go ooh and ahh about his smooth driving style, but when SV shows the skill of a champion it's luck (as many on here stated) and hollow.
Switching to newer tires with 5 laps to go = skills of a champion? Alonso was about to eat him for breakfast when the red came out. U serious? His skills of a champion would've put him second without the red.
He drove 50+ laps with that set of tires FFSAnd he most likely could have held off FA on this hard-to-overtake track and win it. At any rate, 57 laps on a set that according to Pirelli should last 30-35 laps at best, that is some skill for you.
