I fear Hamilton is really going off the rails tbh, wish he had his 2007 attitude.

Id like to see ANYONE DARE disagree with me after watching Hamiltons post race BBC forum interview, DARE.

Why do you feel your so magnetic to the stewards " maybe because im black"

I think, think that was a joke...

Are you telling me that somehow makes it normal dialogue to say?

" For the last 5 of 6 races ive been called to the stewards its frickin ridiculous, frickin ridicoulous."

" (why are you so attracted to to stewards) i dunno maybe its cause im black, thats what ali g says (laughs)

Can you just wait if you havent seen it till i or someone posts the link. My jaw hit the floor, he just would not shut up, and everything he said was like :yikes: .

What is normal dialogue to you I'm wondering? I appreciate people that tell it like it is rather than beat around the bush because of "powers that be" or PR. Remeber these guys are STILL human beings.

Do you tell your boss at work to shove it up his arse when he wants overtime? Or do you keep your mouth shut and grumble to yourself.

Case closed. No you keep your mouth shut. Wheres your " human being anti-PR" ideology then? Its nowhere, because there are some things for the sake of integrity and unneccesary aggro, you just do not say" If he had said that whole convo behind closed doors to his team then its fine, encouraged even.

What he said, and the manner and posture in which he presented it was totally inappropriate.

What rule did he break by what he said? He didn't rub you and the stewards the 'right' way? Didn't sugarcoat it the way you want to hear it? Leave the sugarcoating to politics...LH is a pure 'call it as I see it' racer...period.

What rule did i say he did breaK? Just dont cry when he has piss poor performances on the back of such outbursts.

Exactly, but the so called lewis fan FRAFPDD can't see or except it.

I know i may not post much but i lurk on the forum very regularly so i know who you mean :p

I dunno maybe 1 day something we say will remove some of the hate some people have to certain drivers, id love that to be the case with me and Alonso since i respect him massively as a driver but cant stand the guy as a person.

Well, you can't deny that there is a lot of hatred towards Alonso on this forum. And for the record, I don't hate Hamilton, I simply dislike him. You don't have to believe me but it is that simple. I have said in the past that Hamilton will turn out to be 1 of the best F1 drivers of all time but some things about him just don't sit well with me. Now read my previous posts on this thread and tell me what characterizes my comments as hatred. But I guess any criticism of Hamilton is automatically considered hatred. Enough.

After watching the interview, I couldn't believe it. Can you imagine if Alonso did that. He would be crucified by this forum.

This is pathetic on Hamilton's behalf. I guess he needs to send a letter to all drivers informing them that when he tries to overtake them, they can't block him. Massa had no right at all to close the door on Hamilton  After all he had every right to attack Massa but the latter had no right to defend his position :banghead:

I can't believe that anyone would defend Hamilton's behavior today. I know I am going to get in a lot of trouble for saying those things but honestly, Hamilton gives all his critics all the reasons they need to keep piling up on him.

Finally, about the "black" thing. Is he serious? If he had any credibility at all after this statement he lost it. Just sad, very very sad.

PS: during the race, one of the speed tv guys said that Hamilton might get a penalty for Canada. Did anyone hear anything about it?

Lol, the critics never liked him anyway so no matter what Lewis say or does, to some it really doesn't make a difference. Again ill repeat that the black thing is understandable especially when you look at what the head man Bernie thinks of racist behaviour

Formula One boss Bernie Ecclestone caused outrage yesterday by dismissing racist abuse hurled at Lewis Hamilton as 'a bit of a joke'.
Hamilton had been taunted by Grand Prix spectators wearing black face paint and afro wigs.
Spanish fans called the 23-year-old Briton a 'half breed' and set up a website to post abusive messages.

But yesterday Ecclestone insisted the abuse was not racist and the culprits were 'expressing themselves'.
Many Spaniards dislike Hamilton for eclipsing his Spanish former McLaren teammate Fernando Alonso. The two rowed publicly and were not on speaking terms.
Spanish fans also favour Brazilian driver Felipe Massa, who was beaten to the championship on Sunday in his home country by Hamilton.
Asked about the fans who wore black face make-up at the Spanish Grand Prix earlier this year, Ecclestone said: 'That was probably meant in the beginning as a joke rather than anything abusive.
'I think people look and read into things that are not there. I think all those things were a bit of a joke.
'In Spain, people were supporting Alonso and in Sao Paulo they were supporting Felipe. I don't think it's anything to do with racism.'

Now if Bernie thinks like this why would it surprise you that other in F1 don't think the same.

Well done Lewis for actually saying what many of us have thought since you won your first F1 race.

You are right about the racism part. But no matter what happens, he should not have given his critics more reasons to do so.
He should have never brought it up himself. That's how I see it.

Sometimes you have to say "enough is enough" time to tell it like it is and blow the critics. He is still number two in the championship(hopefully) and he really doesn't care what the critics or the Jenson Button bbc presenter fan club think.

Like he said,he will go enjoy the weather and jet-skies and relax.

:rofl: Vettel sprayed the royal guard!!:rofl:

The best part is, the guard just stood still :hehe:

They should be used to it. After all, what is the job of the Prince of Monaco? He is house mother to the world's most expensive frat party. He keeps the house tidy, keeps out the riffraff, maximizes the thrills and minimizes the spills. It's the greatest job in the world.

Does memory fail or wasn't Lewis still black when he won WDC in 2008?

This is the danger in Lewis' hyper-aggressive, frenetic driving style. When it works, you're Superman. When it doesn't, if you can't adjust or figure out what's gone wrong, you have just two choices: 1) let the air out of your ego, or 2) find a scapegoat. Lewis obviously still holds himself blameless. He's having difficulty accepting there could be a faster driver (or car) on the circuit so everything is someone/something else's fault.

He's a brilliant driver with a destructive attitude.

Exactly it has been rather clear for a while that some at F1 do not want Lewis there.

Maybe Lewis was at fault for some aspects of this weekend and also his team certainly were during qualifying.

Although his outburst has probably been a long time coming really and he will be punished for it. Bizarre to think he has been seen by the stewards for 5 our of the last 6 races and they must of been plucking reasons out of the air for some of those races.

Anyway Monaco is Monaco crap for over taking and only because its a great place to show how much money everyone has in the sport is the reason it is still a race weekend.

Matter of opinion arent seen or accepted, they are heard, i heard what you say and i propose a different view point, have you ever been to school, even 3rd grade kids are taught to respect what other people might think

Calling me a so called Lewis fan just cause i dont agree with you two, shows just why so many people think Hamilton fans (yourself) are complete and utter retards. Because you just do not like anything said about anyone that speaks without your seal of approval.

At this point (if i was say,an alonso fan) id say whatever, ill have the last laugh, but the fact is i am a Lewis fan, and what he said today isnt going to improve his performances is it? Is it? No. And being his fan links to why im concerned about his on/off track performances today.

In summary and I hope you all agree it was a great race and one we have not seen at Monaco in what 15-20yr's?

I must confess as it was monaco i didn't bother to watch.i think that shows what the last 15-20 years there have been like :hehe:

You claim he did not speak appropriately in a manner that warrants punishment...bad pr etc. And I ask how what he said was not appropriate. Sugarcoating is something you actually practice and enjoy? I actually do have the balls to tell my boss that I can't work overtime if he asks. you? This is not the 1800s where I would not be able to do so and be threatened by 100 lashes. Those days are over. Or are they? We live in a world now where if one claims racism, the other side is quick to shut it down with the 'race card' shenanigans. So when someone is actually being discriminated against...how do they prove it without being labeled as a race card player? One has to wonder why he keeps facing the stewards 5 out of 6 races this year.

Yes LH made mistakes this weekend but all in all, let's give credit where it's due. In Monaco, I don't believe LH steward issues is race based but then again, how do we know?
#257950
Does seem odd the tyres lasted for that long but Monaco is such a short low speed track compared to any other that Vettel just winged it and gambled keeping them on for so long. Although it seems they put the wrong tyres on his car and he was meant to go on to super soft as opposed to just softs so a bit of luck there.

Lol, don't get angry it's okay to pretend. Lewis made one rash move today IMO but others in the race did worst and yet that's pushed under the carpet. As for the black comments you don't seem to want to answer me about more comments on what Bernie thinks of racist behaviour.

Now, i don't recall insulting you once in my post yet you feel the need to call me a retard, why so angry?

Smile.. :wavey-finger:

Lewis has a bad race and this forum seems to be going through some of the most heated disputes i have witnessed!

Drop the 'because im black' statement, it was an obvious joke and it was not meant to mean anything.

Though i have to say watching that interview was quite cringeworthy:
"And of course I get the penalty, which is usual. He [Massa] held me up in qualifying and I got the penalty. He turned into me, and I got the penalty."
"It's just ridiculous. These drivers are absolutely frickin' ridiculous. Just stupid." This one really is not going to help him make friends...
#257954
Well, it was the blind truth. Massa is a certified <EDITED FOR CONTENT> anyway, and proved it in this race, twice in the same lap...second time ending his race what a joker. Maldanado, well what the heck has he accomplished, he's paying tuition fees to WIlliams to let him drive.

Lewis doesn't need these type of friends.
