Regardless of result i hope its a good race tomororw, im hitting camden town tonight to drink away todays misfortune ( sorry, vettels supremeness if you want to glorify it) and wake up fresh (hungover) in the hope of a good race tomorrow. It cant come soon enough.

Vlad after webber beat vettel to one pole this year: " Hamilton made a mistake, again"

Youre a sore loser and and a bad winner and the least certified member to be calling others fanboys, was it 2010 you became a fan of Vettel?

Dude, you're the worst loser here...

Hamiltons Q2 run would have gotten him 4th in Q3, there is no question he would have challenged Vettel. I like both drivers but i support Hamilton, my fondness for Vettel turns a little bit more to hate every time I read a comment from you Vlad, you give fans a bad name. There is support and then there is idiotic fanboyism, and you always seem to veer dangerously towards the latter. People take time to have conversations and share their opinions and your response is; 'nuh uh, Vettel is god' followed by some moronic insult. There are going to be people who like something/someone you don't, there are people who aren't going to agree with you over certain matters, it is more interesting to hear them out and then explain your opinion rather than reply with the nonsense you spout out.

Just because it's the internet does not mean manners have to go in the bin. I know that can always be said of fans of anything/anyone. There are always a few who just can't grasp the purpose of a forum but you certainly stand out as being one of the more ignorant.

Apologies for the off topic rant, on topic; I can't wait to see what Hamilton can do from 7th, clean side down to turn 1 i've got my fingers crossed he'll have a good start. I'd like to see Button go for the lead in turn 1 but I actually think he'll lose a few places unfortunately. Vettel certainly looks like he could take the win, but I think there are stronger drivers around Monaco, it'll be interesting to see what Alonso can get out of his Ferrari. Might make for a good race but it could be a real snooze-fest, time will tell.

Have I insulted you?

I like when people like you start to hate Vettel. That means he's getting better and better. And, IMHO, fanboyism is a thing that has roots deep inside this forum. It is a normal thing.

You haven't insulted me, you have just shown yourself to be a silly fanboy, that's all.

I like Vettel, I hate his fanboys.

I always do and have done so for 17 years

You are calling someone else inarticulate? Well now I truly have seen everything.

Glad to broaden your horizon. Now you can go in peace and finally say you saw it all!

Lewis Hamilton a bit unlucky to say the least today, but it seems that Vettel can do no wrong. When Jenson Button won the title it was down to his dominant start and Vettel is doing the same. I wonder if the Perez crash, Vettel's pole and Hamilton qualifying back in seventh means Vettel is 'doing a Button' and will open up what proves to be an unassaiable lead with his first Monaco GP victory tomorrow?

If anyone is interested, I have written a piece about today's qualifying on the Suite101 website <content edited>

I didn't.

Hamilton demoted to 10th after cutting chicane
Saturday 28th May 2011, 17:42

Lewis Hamilton has been demoted to tenth place on the grid after the FIA found he cut the chicane on his final flying lap.
He will likely start ninth however, following news that Sergio Perez will not compete on Sunday after his Q3 accident.
The McLaren driver was unlucky as his planned one run was aborted when the session was red flagged.
With the session restarting after a lengthliy wait, just two minutes remained, allowing Hamilton to set one final timed lap - though according to the FIA, he cut the chicane and his time has been deleted.
However, the stewards are also looking at Felipe Massa's block on Hamilton during his aborted lap, so the top ten remains unconfirmed for now.

Yeah I just saw it.

Damn!!! First qualifying I missed (couldn't miss this date :D ) and Lewis f**ks up royally.

Next time, I'll be holding his hand in front of the TV like I normally do. :hehe:

Well, Monaco is Monaco, everything is possible there, remember Panis etc. ;)
Massa could also be punished.
