The FiA looks set to introduce a a 3 strikes policy for driver reprimands.

3 reprimands (at least 2 driving related) in the same season and you get a 5 grid places penalty.

Seem like they're taking the policy right from our forum. :cloud9:

Nah, if it was per our rules, such a driver would be spending some time drinking coke and eating Magnum bars in the paddock during a race or two (depending on the race schedule). :whip::twisted:

If they implement this new stupid policy, all drivers should start on a clean slate I assume. Otherwise, if a driver already has 3 reprimands, the day they implement this rule the driver is looking at a 5 place drop. :hehe:

If a driver breaks the rules; he needs to be punished as set out in the rule book, none of these warnings and three strikes are needed, there is no need for grey areas, simply crime and punishment!

Oh Boy! Another discipline thing to apply inconsistently!

steward 1: That car was just weaving around all over the track making at least a dozen blocking maneuvers in a row.

steward 2: What color is the car in question?

steward 1: Uh, it was red.

steward 2: Give him a finger wag. That should teach him.

steward 1: Now another car just did the same thing.

steward 2: Color?

steward 1: Chrome.

steward 2: That's five grid spots right there.
