Youve said this over snd over vaptin, You just don't get it as usual!

Part of me thinks you're just defending hrt on this because you hope it will help Ferrari, guess again it will hurt Ferrari just as much as RedBull

No, I'm defending HRT because I think they have the right to protest.

Trying to turn it into something else just makes it look like you've run out of arguments.

Let them try to take points first, then allow them to protest. This is hilarious. I don't want to start another conspiracy theory, but, couldn't it be possible that one of the top teams is lobying for this? Think about it. Who would benefit the most from this?

Very simple: Mclaren.
Because they are the closest to Red Bull, so whatever even slightly shakes RB is to their benefit.

All the teams except HRT are more or less working on their exhaust diffuser, but that doesn't mean theirs work as good as RB's. Ferrari have other important issues to correct besides the diffuser, and so does Mercedes.

arguments? I only have one and i am pretty damn sure I am correct. This is a PR stunt by HRT on the verge of the glamorous Monte Carlo race, HRT will gain nothing on track if they protest the big teams. Which begs the question what will they gain? what are they needing the most? Think about it.

Highly doubt that,This isnt something one team has over another, all the top teams are doing this. And McLarens problems pre season were with the diffuser, I am sure they will be hurt as much as Redbull if this were taken away. We are talking corner speeds being affected here You could guess and basically take half a second to a second of their lap times the status quo will remain with Redbull still having the edge.

Yes but Mclaren need ANYTHING to shake Red Bull... they are the closest. They are the real only ones fighting Red Bull. It was not so clear, but after Barcelona and where both Mc ended it was pretty clear this is the fight. Doesnt mean it is Mclaren lobbying for this, but they really are the onel to win the most.

Why do you all think HRT are threatening to protest to get at the likes of Redbull, Mclaren and Ferrari ?
Do you not think its more likely they don't want Lotus and virgin to benefit too much

Lotus was running a blown diffuser in Turkey and Spain
Virgin reportedly shelved plan's to test theirs in spain after Charlie said it would be banned

HRT"s 2 closest rivals and you think there bothered about Redbull Ha

Bud, you're taking a stab at the dark.....how do you know what HRT's objective is?

Let me list down a few possible 'sane' objectives from this protest:

- Popularity (as you said)....but come on, this isn't good popularity to exactly attract sponsors. Won't an announcement like "We have something massive in the pipeline, wait and see!" do better? Even if they have nothing...

- Unhappy with the loophole/way rule is being manipulated with the gap simply growing bigger and bigger between top teams and the last teams

- Hoping to stall Lotus, maybe he thinks he could challenge Lotus by the end of the season

- Not having to worry about 107% anymore as Redbull and McLaren will be severely compromised!!! (My stab at the dark)

That's great....but who knows later on in the season RBs development takes them even further than HRT can manage, are you going to bet your house against that?

...Exactly.
