I am not saying Rubens is bad, it is not as if you can survive in F1 for so long and be bad, I just feel that if I was a team owner especially one that has been floated on the stock exchange that one of my highest profile empolyees have ripped my merchandise to bits.
But what Rubens is saying is true; Williams has been abysmal this season, a team with such history and pedigree should not be at the back fighting with the newbies. I think it's kinda double standards, Lewis Hamilton rips his team to shreds before the season even started, yet that is accepted, Rubens does it after five races of driving an underperforming car and it's jumped on!

To be fair I remember both Lewis and Jenson ripping the team to shreds so why pick on just Lewis? And they are fully justified to do it, after all the hype and promise McLaren were running like a backmarker team in testing. All they said was the car needs a lot of work which was true.

I can accept that Jenson was whinging too, guess my bias was showing a little on picking specifically on Lewis, I'm human! Lewis did take it further intimating that he would be looking elsewhere for a drive if McLaren can't provide him with a championship winning car. If the McLaren duo are justified in doing it, why isn't Rubens? why is he whining when Lewis and Jenson were justified?
Exactly, but when it's a popular driver like Mr Hamilton with millions of adoring fans, a blind eye tends to be turned, which is even more unacceptable. It's like these Hollywood socialites that break the law and get off lightly (being released from jail after a week or two of a three month) because of their fame and popularity, one brush for everyone else throw away the brush!

People bitch everytime Hamilton utters any kind of negative response especially on this forum so i have no idea what you are talking about, there maybe a large majority that will defend him no matter what happens but there are just as many out there that will attack him no matter what aswell.

Yes, I am aware, I was one of them BUT there were an awful lot of people defending him at the same time, I don't hear many voices defending Rubens! Like Jabberwocky has said; any driver should respect their employer like any other employee. If the average Joe were to complain publicly about their company, they'd be fired in a heartbeat, F1 drivers should show respect for their employers. 90% of all racing drivers are inherent excuse makers, "those beavers making a dam at the side of the track distracted me" and the like. I just think that it's either fine for all drivers to openly criticise their team or it's not fine, no leeway for the popular boys and girls. I see threads on here criticising Rubens time after time every time he utters anything about his team or another driver. Even when Schumacher almost put him in the wall, there were some on here saying he is just whining for nothing, or words to that effect!
And Bill; I don't expect anyone to agree with me; I am pleasantly surprised when people do, it's all in good hearted debate!
