We know that Ferrari usually design cars that are too difficult to handle - look at Badoer and Fisichella last time they made a mid season change. Then I think at the end of this season they will make their call based on the performances of some of these young guns - whether it be Kobayashi, Perez, Di Resta or Hulkenberg. Alternatively, Ricciardo looks good out on the wings, and so do Vergne, and perhaps Bianchi?
While I would love to dream about having Kobayashi at Red Bull - they have a Young Driver's academy and it's time to start using it - particularly with Vergne coming through the ranks. I think Buemi can make the step up for just one season and we'll see how that goes. I'm looking for a driver who can be second fiddle to Seb, in a better capacity than what Mark is doing. I reckon that Vergne would be the best fit to the main team, however - it would be unfair to put him through ahead of the others.
For Ferrari, I really want to see them start investing in a young driver of their own. So I want to see Bianchi make the step up.
#5 Vettel!
