Maldonado must be abysmal! I had such high hopes for Williams this year, I mean we know Rubino is a garden variety midfield F1 driver but perhaps he's giving good feedback as to the car, it's not like his team mate is out there fighting for podiums.

I think that's unfair on Rubens, yes he can be whinny but so can 90% of F1 drivers; he kept up with Michael for the most part during his Ferrari years and on occasion beat him on merit!

But what Rubens is saying is true; Williams has been abysmal this season, a team with such history and pedigree should not be at the back fighting with the newbies. I think it's kinda double standards, Lewis Hamilton rips his team to shreds before the season even started, yet that is accepted, Rubens does it after five races of driving an underperforming car and it's jumped on!

Barrichello never stops complaining, he has always blamed someone else for his own lack of performance. His car may be poor but badmouthing his team at every opportunity is hardly going to motivate them.
I mean he even said in the past that the only reason that Button beat him to the title in the Brawn is because he signed his contract earlier.Pathetic.

Exactly, but when it's a popular driver like Mr Hamilton with millions of adoring fans, a blind eye tends to be turned, which is even more unacceptable. It's like these Hollywood socialites that break the law and get off lightly (being released from jail after a week or two of a three month) because of their fame and popularity, one brush for everyone else throw away the brush!

MIchael Schumacher describes this guy perfectly - a crier. Ever since he signed on the dotted line at Ferrari "I am No.2", and drove for them, he's been whining and whining and whining...his press conferences were the highlight for me. I'd be watching with my dad, and I'd tell him, watch he's about to give his next excuse about why he ended up behind Michael and TADA! It'd be the first thing he says.

Celebrities can pay better lawyers, do you know how overcrowded LA jails are? So the treatment they get at leas in sentencing isn't preferential (I know hard to believe) About the Lewis thing and his adoring fans, I think we'd be giving Rubino a lot more leeway if he had a WDC or two under his belt over the course of his career.

No doubt the car is a piece of poop, but I'm actually supporting him on this one because he's in the same breath saying that he wants to turn it around, I'm sure there are countless engineers and staff that are saying the same thing and to top it all off, his frustration came from having a broken car, not from having a slow car. After all Maldonado made it to Q3, so maybe there was improvement but if the car doesn't work, then it's hard to work on set up.
