He's got to be in dreamland!! I thought he was nuts when he said he thought he was F1's 3rd best driver but, Ralf saying he wants the second McLaren seat eclipses that comment.

yes yes, very good . and this really does sound as far-fetched as you first thought. it's like saying Chelsea FC would buy Fabregas's brother just because he's a Fabregas.

If Ralph does go to McLaren it will be his one and only chance to prove himself in F1 again. He most likely say's to himself each night before bed "I wanna be like Mike"!

McLaren has LH now who has alot of year's ahead of him in F1 so if I was RD I would be looking for a driver who has great speed and potential but above all many year's ahead of him to develope his skill. Ralph does not meet this criteria imo.

I guess he still thinks he's one of the 3 best drivers on the grid, (He's not even one of the best 3 drivers in his family!) not realizing he's not even on the grid at all! He thinks he can just say " I want that ride." and everybody will bend to his will. It won't be long now before he eats his reality sandwich. The question is will it have any effect on his arrogance?

Probably not but when he cannot find a ride atleast we wont have to deal with it anymore.
