Renault is busy fighting the lastest scandel.
McLaren is busy sticking it to Renault.
Ferrari is busy cooking something fishy.
BMW is busy making a faster machine for 2008. Watch out for them :D

LOL, so then none of the other teams is working on improving their car? BMW is the only one that thought of it? Well good for them!

I understand what your saying bmwpower. Renault and McLaren have alot of 'off-track' distraction's but this is not the first time in their history for this to happen but if anyone is to 'pay for it' via on-track performance I think it will be Renault and not McLaren.

Ferrari is busy cooking something fishy.

This is something that at the moment is just 'in your imagination' so to speak unless you can enlighten me to info I am oblivious to?

I'm all for BMW becoming a race winner and/or title contender in '08 but the kind of situation that's going on at the moment is something that has been apart of F1 for many year's. Maybe not in the 'technical sense' but in the team versus team battle's.

If I rememer rightly, this time last year we were all predicting Button to win the 2007 title because...

1. McLaren weren't going so well and we all thought Alonso would take time to settle in.
2. We thought Ferrari would miss Schumacher and Brawn.
3. Button accumulated the most amount of points from Hungary to the end of the season and was on a roll.
4. Lewis-Mania - none of us expected this was going to be the story of 2007.

The gap between McLaren/Ferrari and BMW will decrease no doubt, the other teams always catch up slowly but surely. :)

the only difference is there was a big technical change to the cars with the one tyre rule so teams can make big gains over other teams whenever theres a big change like that.

While the loss of TC might make a difference to drivers performances i dont think it will shuffle the team order we saw this season.

Thats not to say some teams new cars might just click and jump right to the front of the order! and vice versa

Because he was 'hungary' for another win? He came close in 2007 until he lost his front wing in a 'Fuji Moment' whilst racing in the Japanese GP!

I'll get my coat, set myself on fire and then beat myself to a bloody pulp...:lol:

What are you talking about? I love the Brits! I like their quirky ways and nothing comes before a beautiful Oxford accent. But I have to say, their food has lots of room for improvement

We were ALL predicting Button to win the 2007 title??? Not only didn't I do that, far from it. But most other posters didn't either and many said he won't ever.

No, I said that it was on another forum I saw such a topic where everyone said it, but then pointed out that there was a topic posted asking about the possibility, NOT about "yes yes he'll go and win it".
