It's better that way. I'd pay a premium to die faster, rather than suffer the embarrassment of being extricated and worked on in an ambulance and then in a ER only to suffer pain for who knows how long waiting for the sweet relief of death if it is coming at all. If I'm about to crash in that thing I'd speed up to make sure!
