I've learned....
1. The tires are the most important.
2. KERS AND DRS is redundant. We could do with just one.
3. Schumacher is really too old for this.
4. Red Bull are in a league of their own: pit stops, race pace, Q pace...
5. You can't make everyone happy.

5, my new born knows when there is 5 laps of a race to go because he fills his nappy so that I end up missing the final few laps.

haha :)
When he gets older, he will want to play with you while the race is on.
And no matter how you try to keep him watching the little broom brooms go round about, the excitement lasts less than a lap.

Come on Spanky, you should know when your beat in regards to your flagging hardline stance on the DRS.

Na mate, DRS is another ridiculous gimmick to me. I can acknowledge it has appeal to some. But, like watching a fight, I enjoy watching a great boxing matches like Manny Pacquiao V Morales, whereas some only light fighting a-la computer games where you can jump 20 feet in the air and pee hot acid on your opponent for a win.

I believe the pee'ing acid trick is for the most part a Ferrari trademark but is usually aimed at whoever is kicking sand in their face at the time...currently it's Redbull and Mclaren and it would seem the FIA as well. Next week, perhaps it will be Lotus or Virgin.

My favorite Ferrari trick is announcing a break away series every time a reporter accidentally walks withing 10 feet of a Ferrari exec. Hey, here is an idea...how about Ferrari stop whining so much about the FIA and get on with racing. Or better yet, actually show some teeth with the breakaway thing and DO IT...instead of blathering on about it year in and year out so that even the most casual of F1 fans realizes it's all hot air from Ferrari.

Or...and I realize this may be a far fetched idea here...but I'm going to give it a go anyway....how about instead of whining about whatever rule Ferrari can't wrap their engineering minds around this week....they concentrate on attempting to catch up to the pointy end of the field? God forbid F1 have some overtaking..even if it is assisted. It's a way for a clearly faster car to get by a clearly slower car. No other racing on the planet can have a car over a second a lap slower than the one behind him....and yet no pass is possible because the aero is so screwed up the trailing car can't get close enough. So yeah, DRS helps end the procession racing that has plagued this sport for years now...and Ferrari is duckling hind titty because they can't figure the aero out. Perhaps if they spent less time wringing their hands and crying foul at the top of their lungs...they might find a way to make their car work.

And we have a winner in the Ferrari diatribe essay contest! Your prize, you get to throw the switch to destroy the evil red empire wiping all traces of SF's existence from the planet .....

Oh, and BTW, I still personally don't like DRS. (I sincerely hope that blatantly offensive Ferrari inspired statement doesn't upset too many dinners tonight :)

Can I combine the 5 into 1?

#1-5. Redbull seem's to still have the measure over others but I look forward to them getting whooped occasionaly.

Oh and Bill paid for dinner lastnight so I just smiled and nodded occasionaly and we had a fantastic evening. :D
