What?
Bud and F1er, prominent Hamilton preachers have been blocked by me a Hamilton fan, no Alonso fans are blocked, no Ferrari fans, just two Hamilton fans.
Cause i couldnt stand their fanboyism.

Not you Bill, you and I have been cool of late. It's eerily refreshing
I agree, you are typically a level headed poster. I think you either misread or misunderstood what I posted though. If you go back, you will see that I did in fact say 'I suspect'. Had I known that this was the part of my post that you took offense to, I would have pointed it out earlier. That Vettel will surpass Hamiltons stats this season is, of course, merely a suspicion and as I said...Vettel still has plenty of time to blow it. He may well do so.
But they dont get past so much. Id rather watch Kobi or lewis, they do get past often.
Let us extricate Lewis Hamilton from this thread. The Vettel fans are just using Hamilton's name to raise Vettel's profile.
At the going rate, SV's profile will be raised high enough, more precisely by a second world championship
I admit to disliking the dominance thus far this season, but I have to admit that Seb has made
very few mistakes. Should he get the championship that puts him in the double club, I will be happy for him.
Others have had ample opportunity to do so over the last several years and have blown it more than once...proving it's not easy to weather the pressure and lessor men can easily fold under it. We have seen commanding leads thrown away with simple mistakes and over reaching. Such could easily happen to Seb if he cracks under the pressure.
As for his profile versus Hamilton, I suspect by the end of this season he will have left Hamilton in the dust in every measurable stat except number of championships lost due to inability to handle the pressure. Seb has matured faster than Hamilton, or at least so it seems thus far. There is still plenty of time for Seb to fold up like Hamilton did. I find myself on the fence as to which outcome I'd like to see.
Was there any point to this post other then to fuel your fetish for dissing Hamilton?
Be interested to see what your opinion on Vettel having more championships then Mansell, same a Alonso, more then Raikkonen is, considering stats are the be all and end all of whos better.
Everything he said is pretty much true, and yeah it seems to me that Vettel is a better driver than Hamilton, and I'd be willing to say at least equal to the three you mentioned. In the future, he has the potential to perhaps even challenge Schumacher's records! Granted, he's still young, but that just means he has a lot of potential and a lot of time to catch up on some other's records.
What he said about Vettel being better then Hamilton is his opinion, it is not truth. Truth and Opinion are two complete opposites.
I dont believe what he's saying about Vettel and you agreeing is right personally, i have a different opinion. But his whole post was just a diss about Hamilton, you might be new but you should be able to see it.

Maybe i did, apologies then.
And please dont remind me that Vettel may still blow it, it will make it twice as hard to take when he inevitably doesnt and wins the next few years titles, god help us.
I'm confused in regards to the number of times Vettel 'blew' it last season. The only incident which sticks out for me is his move on Jenson in Spa.
In Turkey, it was more of a 50-50, Vettel moving over, and Webber giving him a ridiculous ammount of (no) space going into a 60km/h corner from speeds of over 330km/h.
Where else did Vettel mess up? Australia? His brakes failed. Bahrain? His engine malfunctioned. Silverstone? He had a contact with Lewis' front wing (Vettel was ahead) which caused a puncture, that happens to anyone.
His performance this year doesn't surprise me much. The car is just a lot more solid compared to last year, and as fast if not faster. Vettel is just having to put the lap in on a Saturday, and keep the car on track on Sunday. He's never showed unreliable when leading the pack.
BTW I still think Lewis is a more complete driver of course. But I don't see Vettel as a crashkid. Webber is more of a crasher in my books.

Granted, I perhaps should have read his post a bit more carefully than I did. Maybe Vettel will screw up his year, who knows. Anyway, I still fail to see how his post is a diss about Hamilton, as he was just stating his opinion on the matter. Furthermore, I don't see how the fact that I am new here should impede my ability to perceive what a fellow poster is trying to say.

He's not a crash kid. Nobody in F1 is. But if you take yourself out in two races, out of 19....that's better than 10% failure rate that is directly your fault. That's a lot of points. F1 is a team sport and if a wheel nut guy screws up and the wheel comes off......twice....well, come on...he is going to catch some heat over it. Drivers are no different. While crashing out twice doesn't mean he sucked as a driver, if he had lost the championship by less than the points he threw away....it does mean he cost his team the championship. As it turned out, he won....because two other drivers or teams threw it away. Two races isn't a whole lot, but it's certainly enough to be labeled the guy that threw it away if you end up missing the title.

Theres no way in gods earth you can say Lewis or Fernando threw 2010 away. Losing, just, to a car like that was a great feat. Lewis lost 18 points that would win him the title on the last lap of Spain, Alonsos Ferrari was crap in the first half and his team mucked up in the last race.
Vettel was ALWAYS going to win 2010, webber is the only one who we can say through it away, cause he really did. Led most of the year, suffered hardly any mechanical failures but made rookie errors.
